The biggest change is we now have social media so everyone can complain and we hear a lot more about these struggles. There is some truth that cost of living has run WAY ahead of income. I think it was easier 20+ years ago.

I thought being broke was a rite of passage for young adults. It was an adventure. But I agree they have it harder then I did. Except their cars are SO much nicer than mine was and they have so much more stuff!!

They will continually vote against their own best interests. Lol

I stayed broke until my mid 30’s then I got a little breathing room. Unfortunately this is the way of the world. Nobody is coming to the rescue, each person has to rescue themself.

The only difference is we didn’t have the Internet to complain on. We just did what we had to do to take care of our children and squeak out some happiness in between 60 hour work weeks and a day off.

Yes, things are bad. However, the people in many of these videos are of the age group that overwhelmingly voted for it. There is no free lunch. Someone is paying for it at some point in time. Young people are discovering it now. The best advice I can give them is to change your voting habits.

We were broke when we were younger. We struggled. We couldn't afford most of the things we wanted, and the only thing that's different is we didn't whine, blame, complain and bitch about it to the entire world.
