it's the extremely bloated mess of a "UI library" that I just keep expanding with AI slop every time I need a new component or functionality in some project

check out unscii- it’s a unicode font with retro character glyphs from every old computer

Nice but needs more sliders probably

Absolutely incredible. Is it open source?

I moved the bitmap ui layer into the threejs scene itself instead of injecting it between the three scene and the CRT shader

basically rebuilt my crt shader so it's doing something a little more realistic with how the beam hits pixels. added video playback, and terminal mode with a bitmap font. made moire controllable.

still very much a WIP but here's my threejs CRT (requires webgpu) the main interesting parameter you might want to change is "scan framerate" controls for julia set are WASD, QE, arrow keys, and R to reset.

After spending some time in the Virgin Islands, I was inspired to create a WebGPU-based water shader with TSL and compute shaders 🌊 Lots left to do, but it's finally starting to look decent! #threejs #webgl #webgpu #shaders

making my threejs / webgpu star renderer (planetarium?) more of a real thing. renders 44 million stars from the gaia star catalog at 120 fps. there's no LOD/culling. every star in frame is drawn. next is adding a nice API for agents to write "tours" that play automatically

made my threejs "pixel screen" shader more generic. give it a 2D grid of pixels and it does the rest. so obviously, bad apple.

my CRT shader has a mode that simulates a beam scanning, and a mode that refreshes the entire frame at once.

started rebuilding my whole threejs procedural space city shader so that it supports partial cylinders, concave and convex curves, etc. and added a billion generation parameters.

Made some major improvements to my WebGPU water shader (thanks Ghislain Girardot for the feedback!) Fixed a bug where waves weren't propagating and implemented JONSWAP spectrum for more realistic wave grouping. Hitting ~70FPS @ 2K res on my Macbook M1 Pro #threejs #webgpu #shaders
