Working-class Americans wants much less immigration and much more access to health care. So why is our choice a party that wants to give Medicaid to millions of illegals and a party that wants to take it away from American citizens? It's a bad joke on the American people.

So great joining @afterpartyemily with @emilyjashinsky!

Batya I don’t get your consternation on this. If they are able bodied, why shouldn’t work requirements be instituted? Why shouldn’t we be pushing to get people off these programs as soon as possible? Being reliant on government programs, that can be changed at any time, is a chaotic way to live.

There are a lot of American citizens that are on Medicaid that work under the table. Many many able bodies using the system. Yes I want the illegals off of it too.

I am working class, and pay my deductibles & my copays for my private insurance while being taxed to death to pay for able bodied adults on Medicaid. There is nothing fair about that.

They should have fired the Parliamentarian. She was put in that job by Harry Reid . This wouldn’t have been an issue if someone else was in that role in my opinion .Major screw up by Thune

Oy, able bodied Medicaid recipients need to work 20 hours a week. If you are not aware of the stipulation…

Medicare isn't meant for working age men who are capable of working and just don't.

Republicans don't want to take away healthcare from American citizens. They just want able bodied Americans to work (or volunteer if they can't find paid work) in order to receive free healthcare and other benefits. That is what is in the bill

Why do you keep repeating this? Who is taking health care away from American citizens?!?
