Reality based climate science would ask “what will we achieve if we achieve NetZero?” Let’s see… CO2 contributes < 10% of the greenhouse gas effect there are over 3200 billion tons of C02 in the air (the natural cycle is over 700billion tons per year) The USA generates about 5 billion tons per year. there are over 300million living in the USA (10%)(5/3200)/300M = (1/2)-trillionth. How much is 1-trillion drops? (1T drops)(1mL/20drops)(1L/1000mL)(2.5M-L) = 20 olympic sized swimming pools full of drops. Your ghg effect is the equivalent of 1/2 of 1 drop in 20 olympic swimming pools. What do you do about something you can do nothing about? You adapt.
