In honor of the 250th anniversary of our nation, it’s truly a miracle that we’ll soon reach 50 + 500 + 5000. This 4th of July, we celebrate America's history + heroism and all of the heroes who protect it every day. Twenty years ago today, we gifted one home a year for several years — and this year, we'll reach 50 homes in a single year, our 500thhome overall, while helping 5,000 in 2026 alone. To all of our veterans, service members, first responders, volunteers, supporters, family +friends, we truly honor you. To all at Lowe's, Chase, Amazon Web Services, Hillwood Communities, and to all of our amazing partners all across the country, we thank you for making this amazing mission possible and making so many dreams come true. On this Peace Officers Memorial Day, as always, we remember the valor and sacrifice of the brave men and women who laid down their lives in the line of duty to keep our communities safe, and we stand in solidarity with their families and loved ones. As we reflect on their service, we also remember the Scripture that is engraved on the National Law Enforcement Memorial: Where “the wicked flee when no man pursueth: the righteous are as bold as a lion.” (Prov. 28:1) May God watch over the bold and the righteous and let every act of remembrance serve as a testament to the duty and honor our fallen heroes lived by.

We can never repay the debt we owe to the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to this nation. But we can and should show our thanks however we are able.
