World Creators have had enough...#vrchatcommunity

I've been seeing this a ton too and glad it's being spoken about thanks to some of the games most popular world creators. VRChat itself was built on the tagline "Create, Share, Play."- and well with how things are going ATM.. It's "Generate, Share, Play." Hoping it gets fixed.

@RolltheredDev Wow the bottom feeders are out tonight trying to stir troubles. They act like the simple request of world tagging or a filter is just way too far because it lets people stop having to interact with the content they don’t want to interact with.

I don't get it, you want to police the private worlds? And you want to tag and brand content and avatars that use ai? How exactly do you plan to enforce that? A bunch of zealots running around claiming worlds or players are using ai and mass flagging them? That'll work lol

We need a comment and rating functionality in VRC. Then we can let the community decide these things.

@MydiaStardream I use VRchat a lot for my content, but I have no clue how to distinguish which worlds are using gen AI? Could you please tell me how to recognize them so I dont end up streaming them on accident?

If people want to use ai fine. But they should not make money off of it or be considered a creator if ai did all of the work. Poor quality work for money at the end of the day is always a scam. I’m all for another filter tag. But vrc needs the damn tagging system to filter things

So AI is now taboo? Its the way they use ai, using ai to speed up development, like making placeholders is nothing wrong with. Making entire games out ai is bad, having used ai to help create is nothing wrong with.

Love AI. It will be the new norm before too long. If the world is good then the world is good. Don't care if it uses AI or not.

I feel we need to have a world review section. I feel the tags or filters will not be enough. A community-based system would be a better fit.

Like man the drama it has caused. I've lost a few friends already because of it D: Like VRChat has been on the platform for 8 years and seeing things never created I thought dam be cool to use a tool for it to develope coding for worlds to exist.

ok but what if the goal is have worlds that are indistinguishable from reality? and making these kinds of worlds would be impossible manually. the current evolution of world quality keeps going up as the tools get better. do house framers hate 3d printed houses?

Okay that's actually a curious question cuz I've seen people use AI to help out with textures or just World backgrounds and just use it to help to create aconcept of a character but they still build the actual character and blender. And help out with wording for their bio.
