World Cup is here

It wouldn't be a world cup without Ian Darke!

Ian Darke - a play-by-play broadcaster who actually understands the game (nuances and all).

I'm glad FOX gave you the chance to call World Cup games... but I really wish FOX had assigned you to call all the England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 matches instead of John Strong. Much rather would have someone pro-England commentating, rather than someone who is American biased.

Have a great World Cup Ian

thank you

Thank God Fox hired you

You are the reason that as an American that I developed an interest in football. Great to hear you calling games.

Best voice in sports

Now this fella is a proper sports commentator. The best.

The legend himself!

Still one of the best around Ian, yet we’re still putting up with mediocre commentators at home!! There not as good as they use to be. All the best 👍 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ⚽️🏆

Have fun, Ian!

Always enjoy your work Ian.

So glad Fox have you Ian. You along with peter drury are right up there with the best. Hope you have a great tournament. 🙌🙌🙌

The only person we need to get the opening match underway.

Sir Richard Attenborough of football.

Great job today (as usual!)

Legend.

Ian your voice brings me home to the best tournament on earth ⚽️😀🤩🥹💕💕

Your a legend boss

48 teams from 32 teams in 2022. Watered down World Cup champion, right?

I really enjoyed Ian Darke's call of v Mexico. Landon Donovan stinks he adds nothing to the broadcast. We need to pair Ian with @warrenbarton22 to get the ultimate broadcast. I don't know why the British broadcasters are better, they just are.

Wish id seen this before having to listen to the drivel coming out of Ally McCoist's mouth. Will tune in next time. What Network are you commenting on please?

Ah that voice man. Childhood memories.

Best in the business right there….looking forward to the next several weeks!! It would be great if they put you both on the Final match.

Legend!! We are So lucky to have you call these games

Yay Ian! Good to see you at the Azteca!

You are the GOAT! Thank you for always including so much enthusiasm and positivity in your commentary. You really enhance the viewing experience.

You are a legit legend

@SWrights975 They did you dirty Ian by pairing you with Landon

Ian, be sure to say "oil my bros" during today's broadcast. I'll split the winnings with you 😉

Legend.

Great stuff, Ian. Good luck for the tournament!

Legend 💯

Love your work Ian! Looking forward to a great World Cup and listening to you and Landon
