On 14 February 2025, at 1330 hrs, a Rwanda delegation comprising of the Minister of Defence, Hon J Marizamunda, Ambassador Igor Cesar, Amb Lt Gen (Rtd) M Kamanzi, Brig Gen P Karuretwa and Brig Gen R Rwivanga attended the opening ceremony of the 61st Munich Security Conference at Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Germany. The Minister participated in a discussion titled: Towards a Stronger UN in a Fragmented World emphasizing Rwanda’s continued support for multilateralism and its genuine commitment to peace and good relations with DRC.
