Attended this short creative hackathon tonight - using the full stack of creative ai tools to make a short teaser in 3 hours - and won! - script development: ChatGPT Canvas - scene generation: Midjourney - image to video: Hailuo AI (MiniMax) - narrator: ElevenLabs - bgm: Suno - editing: CapCut given the public domain constraint, the concept we landed on was “Wicked for the Little Red Riding Hood” - a way to turn a canonical Bad Guy into a sympathetic character via retelling origin story. my prompt was something like “in the beginning, wolves and humans lived in harmony. the human tribes rode wolves all over the land and wore hoods symbolizing their deepest values: green for smarts, yellow for bravery, blue for empathy. But everything changed when the Red hoods attacked.” we were the last team to form (i was an hour late) and organizers were worried we wouldnt make it but we were blessed with fantastic teamwork and execution. incredible what can be done in 2.5hrs by people with no creative expertise - imagine what real experts can do with these tools!
