The government is treating us like mosquitoes. Which government has ever treated students like human beings? Was it Congress in their era? Was it Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Banerjee, or Akhilesh Yadav? In which era have students actually received equal rights or the right to live with dignity? Furthermore, are all these buildings government-owned? Were they all built in 2021 or 2022? Many of these buildings are 50 to 55 years old. Most of these are private properties where landlords earn ₹7 to ₹10 lakh every month. If students complain, they are evicted. If neighbors complain, the landlord files a case against them. No one wants to get involved in others' fights because everyone has their own family and world. Even if someone steps forward to fight for the truth, their life is spent running between courts. When people complain to the government and the government takes action by demolishing or sealing the building, then news channels and certain people start claiming that students' homes are being destroyed, their rights are being snatched, and they are being suppressed. Meanwhile, landlords claim they are poor, that they built the building with hard work, and that they have no other source of income. These illegal buildings are not specific to Delhi; they exist in every state. They were not built recently; they have been there for a long time, and this problem has persisted for years. The only solution is to demolish them all and take instant action. When action is taken, no one should come forward with baseless excuses or hold useless protests. You want work to be done, but then you try to stop it, and when it is stopped, you complain that no work is happening. The world cannot function this way.
