I only question the God part. Is she talking about a loving creator/Father who knew in advance that it was all leading to this mess? I guess I'm just a dumb mortal, but if I was all-knowing & powerful? I'd relieve the suffering & fix the injustice. I guess I'm missing something?

My question is why we tolerate a system of gov where those elected to represent us seem eager to do anything but that? Seems like a good time to update our democracy to allow the ppl’s voice to be more than just words, as they have done in Switzerland for the last 175 yrs.
