Yesterday, I had the honor of documenting my good friend Chris Hall in Rolling Fork, Mississippi doing what he does best helping communities all across the U.S. after disaster strikes. Over 75 pizzas from Domino’s, 600 slices to be exact, 100 meals from Waffle House, and so much more were handed out to those in need after the most significant ice storm to ever hit the region left thousands without power for days. What made this story even more special is the personal connection myself, and Chris both have to Rolling Fork after spending weeks here following the 2023 tornado. For me, being back brought mixed emotions. Grateful to help but heartbroken to see a community I grew so close to struck by hardship once again. Please show Chris some love in the comments for his outstanding work helping communities like RF get back on their feet. I know this is a long video, but Rolling Fork needs their voices heard. I spoke with multiple residents who feel they were forgotten as attention and resources were directed toward Oxford and elsewhere, and I stand behind them. Politico's actual concern (in print!!!) is that a Supreme Court ruling protecting physician free speech "could permit doctors to speak more freely with patients and to the public about approaches to health care that are outside the mainstream." Outside the mainstream. Let's talk about that for a second. Who decides what's "mainstream?" The same institutions that told us masks didn't work, then said they did? The same bodies that said COVID couldn't have come from a lab? The same establishment that assured us the vaccines would stop transmission? The same system that watched Dr. Paul Marik (the most published ICU doctor in the world) stand before a Senate hearing in tears, saying, "They took away the drugs that were working for me. They made me just watch my patients die." His ICU had the highest survival rate. And they stripped him of his ability to treat. Doctors who used hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin (and saved lives doing it) had their licenses threatened or revoked. Not for harming patients. For HELPING them. For thinking outside the box when the entire world admitted it didn't know how to treat this disease. The Supreme Court is now weighing whether licensing boards can punish doctors for speaking their truth. And Politico's position is that they should be able to. The patient comes first. Update: Young Cody Hudson (26- FL) will have the first of two skin graft surgeries to his extensively micro clot injured leg tomorrow. He is still hospitalized in critical condition for day 25 now, fighting for his life in advanced heart failure and at risk of leg amputation caused by blood clotting and micro-clotting as a result of his severe, vaccine-induced autoimmune clotting disorder that is well documented, peer reviewed and published and that he was left with since 2021. He was recently medivac transferred by helicopter to his current hospital in order to access a specialized, multidisciplinary care team equipped to handle his rare combination of heart failure, strokes, micro-clotting, and critical need for immune modulation to stop this aggressive autoimmune process. In June, he had a massive, inflammatory autoimmune event in which micro-clots in his blood have completely cut off circulation, acting like a severe third-degree burn all the way around his lower leg from the knee down. We had to request immediate helicopter transfer to his current hospital system on Father’s Day just a few weeks ago, to avoid leg amputation and to save his leg. I have been providing extensive wound care in the hospital for the past three weeks taking care of Cody’s leg- on my own and keeping it free of infection with the support of the staff here at the hospital. Tomorrow, he will have surgery to remove the dead tissue— this is the first of two skin graft surgeries on his left leg (or for both legs if they determine his right leg is severe enough)- A sobering aspect of these surgeries is that any surgery for a patient with Cody’s blood clotting condition is a terrifying tightrope between fatal blood clots and catastrophic bleeding with an extreme high risk compared to the general population. If the dead tissue is not removed- he could easily die of infection- we have been able to keep him free of infection in the legs, but the risk of death by infection is grater this surgery outweighs the risk of infection killing him. Because his case is so rare, I have dedicated years to researching these specific autoimmune injuries. Update: Young Cody Hudson (26- FL) will have the first of two skin graft surgeries to his extensively micro clot injured leg tomorrow. He is still hospitalized in critical condition for day 25 now, fighting for his life in advanced heart failure and at risk of leg amputation caused by blood clotting and micro-clotting as a result of his severe, vaccine-induced autoimmune clotting disorder that is well documented, peer reviewed and published and that he was left with since 2021. He was recently medivac transferred by helicopter to his current hospital in order to access a specialized, multidisciplinary care team equipped to handle his rare combination of heart failure, strokes, micro-clotting, and critical need for immune modulation to stop this aggressive autoimmune process. In June, he had a massive, inflammatory autoimmune event in which micro-clots in his blood have completely cut off circulation, acting like a severe third-degree burn all the way around his lower leg from the knee down. We had to request immediate helicopter transfer to his current hospital system on Father’s Day just a few weeks ago, to avoid leg amputation and to save his leg. I have been providing extensive wound care in the hospital for the past three weeks taking care of Cody’s leg- on my own and keeping it free of infection with the support of the staff here at the hospital. Tomorrow, he will have surgery to remove the dead tissue— this is the first of two skin graft surgeries on his left leg (or for both legs if they determine his right leg is severe enough)- A sobering aspect of these surgeries is that any surgery for a patient with Cody’s blood clotting condition is a terrifying tightrope between fatal blood clots and catastrophic bleeding with an extreme high risk compared to the general population. If the dead tissue is not removed- he could easily die of infection- we have been able to keep him free of infection in the legs, but the risk of death by infection is grater this surgery outweighs the risk of infection killing him. Because his case is so rare, I have dedicated years to researching these specific autoimmune injuries.
