Would be a MASSIVE get for Bama. Don’t think this affects Tank Jones either, as I discussed last night on the live show — especially if Xavier Griffin plays off the ball. Jamarion Matthews (pure Bandit) Nolan Wilson (Bandit w/inside versatility) Tank Jones (Wolf/potential Bandit) Kam Johnson (IDL in...

Self Toss short-hop feeds drill. 1 hop and 2 hop variations. Ball hit at you, declared backhands and glove side picks. A player can get a lot of reps in a very small space. Keys: in order to be on time to the short hop, the toss can’t be too far out front, too low or too fast. You have to start low, play low and move low (with precision feet). Why? Everything happens really fast, especially 1 hop rep variation. If you are late, you get an in-between hop. Really late and/or very lazy feet … you get a big hop. We are not working fielding either of those hops in this drill. Be on time to the short hop. Another key: On ball tossed directly in front (grounder at you) it prevents exaggerated “rounding off” the ball. Not enough time before ball hits the earth and you have to be there on time to the 1” hop. This creates a much more realistic game like rep and approach to the ball. We use a line in video to show how the alignment works. Notice how he is set up with left ear near the line. He is “preset” as far off center as he would need to get on a game rep. Left ear or left shoulder is as far off center as you ever need to get to read speed and hops at ball hit right at you. (Left handed throwers are opposite ear). If you do this drill with baseballs and a target on a net, you can finish the play with a throw and follow. Really creative and you can do this same self feed drill or your own variation to work on your double play “feeds” or slow rollers. Another variation is throwing a ball off a wall. But walls are not always available. Especially when using a baseball. We are using a tennis ball in this video. Dirt Bro Baseball

Ferris State HC Tony Annese - GT Counter Triple Option - Quarterback Fundamentals... Catch the ball and make a 1/8th turn to face the DE you are reading. Stab the ball back off of your back hip. Mesh with the RB while reading the DE. The DE must squeeze hard enough to tackle the RB in order for you to pull the ball. If he does pull and seed the ball at your chest. Attack the pitch key's outside shoulder (1st man outside the tackle box). If he darts to the slot keep the ball. If he stays with you, pitch the ball and avoid the hit. -Running Back Fundamentals... Take 2 shuffle steps for depth (almost like a OT pass set). Wait for the ball to be brought back to you. Once it is, track behind your pullers making sure to keep a big pocket so the QB can get a good mesh. Once you get the ball follow your pulling tackle and fit off of his block. Get upfield at the first opportunity. -Slot Fundamentals... The motion timing is on the slot on this play. Motion as late as possible to still get in pitch position (we would try to motion at the snap on this play but depending on how fast each slot is they may have to cheat it a bit). Motion at the QB's heals and run full speed. Once you get into pitch phase yell for the ball to let the QB know you are there and stay in pitch phase till you get the ball. -Perimeter Blocking - On this play we will switch block with our WR and Slot. That means the WR is going to block the high safety and the Slot will block the corner. We leave the OLB as the pitch key. We still want to make sure we are square to the man we are blocking so the slot will go flat down the LOS until he gets to the same vertical plane as the corner and then he will climb to block him.

Introducing the “Get” action in basketball to lacrosse! The “Get” is a 2man action where a player passes the ball to another player and sprints to go “Get” it back on a handoff. This action has similar concepts and reads to pick and roll, but the picker is actually the ball handler! In lacrosse, we have been experimenting with Gets because it creates so many interesting situations and reads for the players. The way we teach it in small sided games is to have one offensive player declare “I’m shut” and the defense has to face-guard him. From there we pick for the shut off player trying to spring them free for the Get. The ball handler has to engage and control their defender, anticipating the shut player trying to get open. The shut player can backdoor if being overplayed towards the get (rejecting the get), receive a flip, or continue curling around the ball getting open for a late pass. The ball handler can feed the reject, flip the ball, or fake the flip to attack the goal or make a late pass to the shut payer curling to the goal. I’ve seen examples of this run in men’s and women’s DI lacrosse at Ohio State and Northwestern, respectively and I’ve run this myself when I was coaching HS girls lacrosse. You will also see on this reel a sick application for Gets vs. a common big-little invert coverage where the short stick doesn’t go behind with his man and plays “Safety” in front of the net. Gets are fun for the players, are incredible for teaching your players 2man game on and off ball, dealing with double teams, and creativity with passing, and can be used to score goals. I hope you enjoy it! Can you think of other applications for Gets?

Received a video on Social Media where wife of BJP defeated candidate asks for money back from a voter who didn't vote for him. Is this what democracy looks like? Reading that, in Mancherial's municipal polls, Roopa—wife of defeated BJP candidate Jadi Tirupati—storms into homes demanding voters swear on God they voted for him... or return the ₹3,000! Shameful if this is true 😡 Woman in Purple Saree: Have you voted? Elderly Woman: Yes, I have voted. Woman in Purple Saree: (Points to the elderly woman's finger) See, here it is. Keep it. (She begins writing on her papers). Elderly Woman: I have voted. Woman in Purple Saree: I've noted it down. Man (Off-camera): You should have asked about the pension when you took the money. Elderly Woman: I have voted. Man (Off-camera): If there's any courage, ask about the pension. Ask them why they didn't come when you were in trouble. Woman in Purple Saree: What is your husband's name? Elderly Woman: Maatheri Narasamma. (She seems to be giving her own name or her husband's name). Man (Off-camera): They didn't come when you were in trouble. They didn't call you then. Why are they coming now and begging for votes? Tell them! Elderly Woman: Count these three thousand. (She hands over some money). Woman in Purple Saree: (Takes the money and continues writing) I'll give it back tomorrow. What will you do with it now? Man (Off-camera): If there's any courage, ask them. If you have any courage, ask them. Woman in Purple Saree: What is your husband's name? Man (Off-camera): If there's any courage, ask. Woman in Purple Saree: Why do we need all this talk about courage? Man (Off-camera): Why not? It’s important! Woman in Purple Saree: Why do we need to talk about all that BJP Narendra Modi ji, why is this still happening in India? This poor woman should go viral. She actually returned the money back. If this video is true, then in 24 hours pls take action against the BJP candidate. This is not at all ok. All the work you are doing is getting tarnished like this. As a well wisher, this is not at all ok for our country. Reward this poor woman who had the courage to give back. She needs to go viral. #FI

I know a setup like this for many people would look cool and convenient but hear me out. I would only utilize something like this while parked in a camping area with other people. I would not use this by myself in the middle of the woods like this. I don’t feel they are safe and I’ll explain why. First off and most importantly, I don’t see a safe way to secure it. It’s all thin plastic sheeting meant to be waterproof but can be easily cut to gain access. If anyone wanted to cause harm or rob you, all they have to do is cut through the sheeting and they would have access to everything. It wouldn’t be hard to break into this. Then I look at how long it takes to setup, while it shows one person can set this up by themselves. Look at how long it takes to do this, it’s very impractical. I feel something like this that’s an add on to a vehicle should be much easier, like pushing a button and everything is pops out by itself. In an emergency I couldn’t imagine trying to fold things back in the right way while trying to escape. Could you imagine trying to outrun a bear in this only for it to be ripped off by tree branches cause you couldn’t fold it in time? The scenario I’m thinking of is what if I am being chased by a wild animal like a wolf or a bear. I couldn’t just hop in my Jeep and take off with this setup. Everything is folded out and tethered into the ground. It’s not like a traditional tent I could leave behind. If I was out camping with friends for a few days I think this could be ok. But doing a van life of camping for months at a time during the summer months wouldn’t be safe or practical as a solid unit like a standard RV. I wouldn’t be comfortable or safe in something like this.
