Would be interested to see if anyone else can see why this drop ball was overturned and given to Dundee. There’s been mentions of only two touches being allowed following a drop ball, but there’s no rules on that according to the laws of the game.

This is why you make a play on the ball to the best of your ability, then see if there was a foul or ground rule double. Especially when there’s an obvious gap between the ball and the wall. The umpire's reaction was hilarious though: totally made the clip for me. Looks like C.B Bucknor

For my money it was always impact to waist high past the ball with Hogan. So distinct and beautiful! If you can drag the handle this far past the ball and still have speed you are going to need a lot of sunscreen! There’s no shade out in the middle !

I hate to nitpick but this 3-run moon ball is kind of a rally killer. Small ball keeps the pressure on and turns the lineup over to the better hitters. Especially this early in the game. I’d like to see Shaw be a better teammate in the future

According to IFAB Law 12, a handball is not an offense if the ball is hit on the hand or arm directly from a teammate’s kick or header at close range. Vitinha smashed the ball into Neves from point-blank range and so, it is classified as “unpreventable contact”, the rule is superseded by proximity. Neves has zero reaction time to move his arm when the ball is coming off a teammate’s foot from two yards away. There’s also the fact that it was a defensive clearance and not an opponent's shot or a goal-bound ball, there is no "unfair advantage" gained. So, this wasn’t a pen, IMO

If it hits the side/corner of the box and immediately goes down it is the other teams point. You can all adjust and make up your own rules! Can be played 2v2, 3v3, or even 4v4.
