When I was in elementary school in the '80s, I had this really hot teacher; it was the first and last time I'd ever have a hot teacher again. She was really optimistic and just a genuinely a chipper person. I remember she gave a speech that by the time we were adults, the whole world would be equal, and Africa would make a Walkman or car just as good as the Japanese. Africa would also make a Macintosh just as good as Apple. It's 2026, and East Asians pretty much wipe their asses with anything Africa can make. Talk about getting it wrong.
