Would it be crazy to say, that rover’s best character development arc is from laharoi??? They are portrayed as a savior but the arc emphasizes their flaws and shows how they’ll keep moving forward no matter what.

This is why this is my favorite WuWa patch. They gave Rover a lot of character development to show he’s not some invincible guy, that he has weaknesses and fears too (such as the fear of losing Aemeath forever)

Usually gacha games using their mc as self insert so mostly they're one of the least writing character in the game, but wuwa use different approach. It's crazy that rover literally the best written character in term of gacha games tho

Its not crazy, rover went from npc in 1.x to actual character in 3.x, it climbed quite some spots for me personally, idk if it was intentional to portray how nothing burger some1 with memory loss is initially but it worked.

Yes, it's not crazy. The arc is amazing. Tho I was kinda hoping that Aemeath's end would be bittersweet for Rover. But oh well, what can I expect from a gacha game; too many risks for the devs to even try that

lahai roi broke that "savior" facade that we got used to in renasita and septimon , all what we saw was a yearning parent, a hero with self doubt, a friend who needed a therapy session from an old companion and a self doubter that they are afraid of not giving it all.

I think the arc with Galbrena is good too. Rover was the one trapped and almost offed himself for everyone. It shows he needs saving as well.

Rover has one of the most amazing mcs on videos games so far. I know there are others but hes up there imo.
