Kawase Hasui’s work in unparalleled. His use of color is incredible. An absolute master of his craft.

Don't know if it's been mentioned already but if you like woodblock prints you must check out David Bull's YouTube channel and their shop. They also have affordable -ish prints and ship worldwide. David is for years now a recognised master. Amazing guy.

Incredible that he painstakingly crafts this design then just lights a cig and blows a smoke cloud right over it. Zero fucks given, everything in this era needs a tobacco sheen to hang.
