Would you buy a Metaphor ReFantazio sequel?

It’s my favorite story since ff16, I literally couldn’t stop thinking about it. I loved the antagonist so much and all the stories of the main cast were so well written

MAN Luis Guiabern should be talked about more. Absolutely brilliant antagonist right there

Definitely its such a special game with a powerful message in its political and philosophical story showing rascim, prejudice and anxiety and more e.g plus the game is so cool music, art style, combat like how can you not like it.

Yep. The game is pretty under appreciated for how well it executes what it sets out to do

Remove the day to day calendar system, I'm there

SO TRUE! Or at least shorten the days that comes from those preparation sections because they become monotonous after a while imo

It's my biggest problem with these games. I don't have that kind of time or interest.

Even tho I’ve become used to it, I also don’t love that game design choice, never have. It’s become a tired formula that’s carried over from Persona and I think it’s time for innovation.

Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed it more than Persona 5 to be honest. Probably either lessen the days or give the player an option if they're ready to get to the next part of the game. Although I do understand that getting through the days can add more lore or story moments.

The preparation sections is probably my biggest gripe with the Persona formula that carried over to this game. They definitely need to start tweaking it and either shorten those prep days or, like you said, let you start if you’re ready to continue the story.

No. Unless they get rid of that ridiculous and totally unnecessary time management part. It works for Persona, but it's just frustrating here IMO. I stopped playing this game even though I was probably at the end.

Trust me I get it. The preparation sections for me are way too long, really the calendar system needs some innovation.

HARD YES. I loved this game!! The characters, the music, the gameplay - all so good!

This better become a franchise of its on like Persona

Yes! I would love to see how they would evolve the Archetype system. Plus, Metaphor had the best story in 2024!

Man, the Archetype system was BEAUTIFUL

Course, it was a lot of fun.

If they did, I’d like to see a new cast of characters!

Hell yeah I would. I absolutely adore this game.

If they don't make a sequel to this, they're throwing away money. But I'm honestly convinced they're making one.

Yes, I loved the story and gameplay of Metaphor: ReFantazio- and intend to stream later on. I don't know if Atlus wants to further develop this amazing series.

They’ve entertained the possibility but nothing it official as of now. I hope it does become its own franchise tho!

Of course I'll buy it. Regardless of the reviews, I'm going to take my time playing through it multiple times and enjoy it to the fullest.

I'm a big fan of persona 3 reloaded, I like this game, but the pacing of Atlus works are not for me. I'll give it a shot anyway, but I wish they were shorter

Honestly? Yes.

With new characters and a story that had absolutely nothing to do with the first one? Yeah

Yes

Brother I'd buy Metaphor DLC. I'd buy Metaphor spinoffs. I'd buy Metaphor body pillows. I would love more Metaphor.

Yes.

i preorder the game with my heart in my hands praying for atlus to not make their "definitive edition re-release" shit and thank god they didnt and the game was peak

It honestly doesn’t need one anyway

YESSSS

You god damn right! Metaphor is a masterpiece.

I gotta get the first one first

Yes.

Yes

Si. Metaphor fue un juego que me enamoró de principio a fin. La historia es buenísima y el combate es de los mejores de Atlus

For sure.

Thought it was really good I'd like another game in a similar universe at least!

I wonder how they’d do that concidering how the last game ended

It’s my fav atlus game but I don’t actually want a sequel. A lot of things don’t need sequels, it’s just a great standalone story. I’d love to hear more stories from the world though - like not “Japan” or something haha

fuck yes

Of course

Exactly

Well, only if it doesn’t continue the story. It ends perfectly with its lesson and its issues said and resolved. I don’t think they could make the story as good as its original using the same stuff, it would feel as tacky as the frozen sequels.

day 1

100% I really liked Metaphor
