Obviously cheating. “Is this hardware that makes enemy players visible even though you can’t see them cheating”

If it's a feature that's NOT offered by a game then it's cheating because the notification is being created by an outside source. Y'all can keep the "it's on the minimap" arguments to yourselves. The minimap doesn't create the notification on the screen.

yes. this is cheating. the skill of games comes from managing all elements at once. if there were a program, or piece of hardware that told you when an enemy approached in val by using sound data, EVERYONE would agree thats cheating. its technically info the player

It's automated coaching, which may or may not be cheating depending on the environment. Other players can warn ping the board where the enemies are invading, but that's forcing a trade-off, where this is introducing a third-party that is not also a player.

Should have made it a poll, and yes. Though what it is specifically doing may seem minor, it is setting the stage for a LOT of things that won't be.

Of course, it is cheating, but it shows an interesting vector of development where AI enhances human capabilities. An interesting future awaits us.

100% cheating. These monitors would be banned from tournaments.
