I think a warning shot would’ve been enough but I guess in the moment you don’t truly know what you’ll do. Adrenaline, heart beating really fast, I’m pretty sure I would’ve shot it too. Film it? Idk. That’s what makes it look wrong

As a hunter, I can say this is a douche move. You don’t film yourself holding your handgun if you’re immediately threatened. This was a juvenile cat acting interested. Put a round in the dirt and it would have run off. If not, back against a tree and if it gets antsy, then shoot.
