The dog being dyed & trimmed like that alone is not animal abuse. It’s more about how well the dog tolerates the sessions, they shouldn’t be too long & lots of positive reinforcement. The dyes should be nontoxic & not irritate skin If done properly, the dog will be content throughout the process. Though I would never get this done to my dog!

How times change. A few decades ago a woman who worked at a beauty shop in Colorado got in trouble for dyeing her poodle pink for breast cancer awareness. Some people said it was cruel and that the dyes could poison the dog through the skin. Now prior are doing this.

As someone who does actual research instead of just saying nonsense, this is not animal cruelty/abuse. The dyes are pet friendly and the fact that they’re doing this on a what looks like a poodle makes it all the better.
