Best Gen ever - 69 myself 👊

My tribute to the greatest decade in anyone's lifetime....

❤️

Not go back, but I would like to bring it back.

In a heart beat, we literally lived at the pinnacle of America, best music, best movies, every got along🇺🇸

No. I love my family life too much but it definitely shaped me.

Yes. Going out to the arcades, and this store.

Blue Light Special

Yeah that's how I discovered Little Caesar's Pizza. We would go there before going to the movies.

I long for the days when I didn’t cry so much. The creation of the internet has been the single most damaging and destructive force in society ever inflicted on mankind. When someone says “go out and touch grass,” it’s a sign you’ve spent too much time online. Reality is calling.

All of Gen X can agree the world population is way stupider then we are for some reason. Maybe they skipped us with the retardation chemicals in our food. Can any of you not say your the smartest person that’s around a bunch of stupid people. Think after 90’s you just will have a lower IQ. Sorry people but 80’s people have way higher IQ

YES I WOULD GO BACK. Why do I get the feeling I will go to bed one night (age 61) and I when I wake up I will be a child again in the 70s and I am able to remember all of my previous 61 years ??? I see this happening.

Yes. The 80s and 90s were a much better time. Now sucks.

It was so much better. Slower pace. Friendships were deep and meaningful. Far less stress. No one needed to have their whole life figured out before they turned 18. Childhood still existed. People were stronger, calmer and more principled.

Yes much more serene lifestyle, and no cellphones ...

For one more Pizza Hut date with my then boyfriend and now husband. Deep dish supreme pan and two tall red tumblers of carbonation. They were good days.

💯 I wish my girls would have had similar experience growing up as I did. Tried to make as many as I possibly could replicate, still was a long, long way from my childhood

Notice the kids with the rainbow shirts on. In our time the rainbow just meant we liked rainbows, not celebrating LGBTQRESTUV.

Absolutely, to be rid of the internet would be joyous!

Without a doubt….so lucky to have grown up during the 70s and 80s!!!

In a SPLIT second... YES!! Best days of my life...

Yeah, I could loop 1985 to 1995 over and over at least a few more times.

In the blink of an eye.

Man...that takes me back. Yes to all the above. We had our problems and challenges back then too. But I would not trade my childhood from the 70's and 80's for anything.Kind of feel sorry for kids of today who never got to do those things we all took for granted...

Yes I would. We don’t know how good we had it!
FFFFuck yeah!

Any period prior to social media.

I’m a baby boomer … we played outside and had a blast.

Definitely with no hesitation.

Damn I miss that!! I had a friend I would sit under the street light and talk to until my dad yelled for me to come home.

In a New York Minute !!! 🦅🇺🇸🦅

Rentals at blockbuster that meant no parents and movies and games all night.

With all my heart. I’m 50. Trust me, it was amazing back then.

I would pay to go back. lol

In a heartbeat! This is me (red shirt)at my only childhood birthday party at the skating rink. And I had to share it with my brother bc his birthday is a few days after mine. 🫠

Knowing what I know now, ABSOLUTELY! The best era ever.

In a heartbeat

Still have my vintage Mini Truck 😁😁😁 Got it in high school in 1989
