as a pedestrian i’d rather wait at a light for cars to stop, as it’ll mean the cars can stop in time. as a driver i’d rather pedestrians wait too, as it’s safer all round to have a traffic light with a large pause zebra crossings on a roundabout will be utter madness

I'm looking forward to this being finished. It will make it much safer and pleasanter to cycle through that area.

What's needed ASAP is segregated cycle lanes throughout the city - not token painted lanes that offer no protection to cyclists. You might then get more uptake in cycle use and reduce traffic 👍🏻

Let’s make it safe for all road users let’s put a system in place that nobody has used before what could possibly go wrong 🫣
