They should be standard tbh so people don't have to deal with this whole mess. Same with prenups.

I have 100% faith and trust in my wife, but I'm going to make her take a paternity test to prove her loyalty and to satisfy my doubts. 🤡 Same people: I have faith and trust in God, and I'll never question that faith despite the fact that there's no evidence for the specific God I know for sure is real. 🤦

I see no problem with it. Women automatically know their children are theirs. Why not let your husband have that same degree of absolute certainty? What reason is there to object to a test if you haven’t been unfaithful?

I wouldn't make my wife take a paternity test. I would take a paternity test before we even leave the hospital. For 2 reasons. 1. I want to be sure the child is mine - she didn't get impregnated by somebody else. 2. I want to be sure the child is mine - the hospital hasn't by omission or commission given me another couple's baby.

Never. If you can't trust your own wife you may have more issues

It’s not an unreasonable requirement given that he’s expected to pay alimony & child support after a divorce. Another thing is that he’s expected to provide for the child & the bond shouldn’t be built on lies. Women shouldn’t get defensive or offended by paternity tests unless they’re adulteresses.
