Dear young men, You can be anything in this life but please don't be a simp. I was seeing various video snippets of a certain man who went to the honest bunch podcast to share the tales of his bitter ordeal in his marriage to a certain lady whose name I don't want to mention. I sincerely have no idea about the couple until I saw the video but I realised from online comments that they were a very popular power couple on Instagram way back 2018 or thereabout. Out of curiosity, I went on YouTube to watch the full video on Glitch Africa Studio channel. I cringed while watching the video because I was very pissed off with what the guy was saying. I felt for him at the same time though. My question still remains "how can a guy be so naive?". He married at 37yrs of age. One would have expected a 37y/o man to be well experienced about life. Now he is 48yrs old with no child anywhere in the world, and his wife has left him too. His first mistake: She was already married and divorced, and she told you about it, but you are a single man who has never been married, yet you made a divorced woman your first choice and you even got married to her just five months after she slid into your DM. She was already leading you on handicap with her prior marriage experience. As a single man, marrying a divorced woman or a single mother is more like you playing Russian roulette with your life. Another mistake: You agreed to her travelling abroad while you stay behind in Nigeria. She outgrew you while you remained at same level. Another mistake: You saw a chat she had with her friend where she said she was done with you and all sort, yet you still chose to stay in the long distance marriage and kept on fooling and simping. Another mistake: You agreed to her doing an arranged marriage in US so she can get a green card. Another mistake: You live in Nigeria and earn in naira but you still send money to your "wife" who is in America. I can go on and on but wetin concern me self. Anyways, like MKO the comedian would always banter on his show, "Dodoyo go dance gbedu". As a man, you are only allowed to simp up till 25yrs of age. Once you cross your mid 20s, as a man, please love with your brain. Don't be an intentional man. Don't be a matured guy. Don't be a real man. Na mumu dey answer all those name. Don't be a simp. Let him who has ears hear now. If you fail to hear now, you will also cry bitterly sooner or later. I pray Roby Ekpo heals. 📹 : Glitch Africa Studio (YouTube)

I just got the sad news that my Grandma Roz passed away at the age of 94. A Brownsville native, my grandmother was one of the first women to graduate from Brooklyn College with a degree in Chemistry. She was born to two very sick parents who both died while she was very young. My grandmother was a picky eater growing up and she never let me forget it. She introduced new food to me and when I fussed, she said “don’t say you don’t like something until you try it.” In fact, my first memory was her feeding me slices of cheese. I’m sure she just wanted me to be healthy, but it taught me a deeper lesson. That small value, helped me develop an open mind, not just for food, but everything in life. She taught me how to cross the streets in New York. One time, I got so frustrated that my grandma made me hold her hand, I ran off into the middle of the street with cars passing. When she rescued me 😂 she yelled at me and my credit score was dead on arrival ever since. My grandma spoke as a matter of fact. Confidently. She challenged me every step of my maturity. That helped me not only believe in myself but understand that along the way, I would have to put up as well. Even when you achieve something? It’s not enough. There’s still work to put in and a level to reach. With all her grandchildren, Grandma Roz would mark their height. Every visit, I’d see my growth. Through my younger cousins, I saw the evolution of her commitment to raising our family. I always respected that. My grandma once went to the Queens public library at flushing and picked me up a VHS of He Got Game. She tossed the case on the tv stand in my room and said “watch it, there’s nudity in it” 😂 When I was a teen, She would often have a secret non alcoholic beer with me… it was her way of being dangerous and I always got a kick out of it. As I got older, my car rides to NY always stopped at my grandma’s house in flushing. She would treat me the same way from when I was a kid. Treating an hour ride from Jersey as a “long ride you must be starving” taking out a piece of toast and offering a “little margarine” in her Brooklyn accent. At night, coming to my room with extra pillows, which she never called pillows, but “cushions” As a kid, my grandma would wake me up every morning singing Irving Berlin’s “Oh, How I Hate To Get Up In The Morning” I learned to enjoy the song because splashing water would come after. Something about that song. It’s so perfect. It’s so spiritual. I always imagined myself signing it at her funeral. I don’t know if I will, but now she won’t have to wake up every morning. She will get to sleep. With the eternal. Im forever grateful for such an amazing matriarch that I would have NOTHING without. I’m sad, broken, but she lived a long life and I know how blessed she was to make it a full century’s worth on this earth. My last experience with her was last week, she wouldn’t take her medicine. I just came up to her, put the pills in my hand and gave it to her. She took it. She grabbed my hand and kissed it. I’m so thankful to my mom, the healthcare workers, for allowing me to have a moment like that. Rest in Peace, Roslind Dorwitt aka Grandma Roz, or as our family called her… The Wizard of ROZ. ❤️

THIS IS SO PURE AND SWEET~~ lom got herself such a fairytale type of love 🫠🫳🏻🫳🏻 #เสน่หาวาโย *SPOILERS* :) . . . "lom?" the beautiful woman called out the name of the person she shared the house with. however, since she had woken up a little later than usual this morning and wayo hadn't come to wake her, when she got up, she found the house empty. after celebrating with wine last night, she was feeling a bit hungover, but not as much as the sickness caused by the local liquor that had made her feel ill before. "where could she have gone? she didn't leave a note" it had become an unspoken rule between them ever since they had to face the rebels that they always inform each other before going anywhere, so they would always know the other was safe. but today, catherine didn't understand why wayo had broken that rule. if she didn't hear from her, she would have to go look around the house or ask the villagers. "blew" "what are the kids doing here?" "come on, let's go" catherine looked at shasha, who eagerly grabbed her hand, pulling her to walk along. the other children surrounded her, leaving no chance to ask where they were going. having been there for a week, catherine had become close with the children, just as she had with wayo. the kids often invited her and wayo to play or to teach them activities during their free time. "where are we going, shasha?" "it's a secret" the little girl giggled and led her to a resting area on a hill. then she instructed her to stop and wait there, telling her to close her eyes and count in her mind. catherine agreed to follow the instructions, but as she was counting, she heard the sound of children running down the hill. perhaps it was a prank. or maybe just their idea of fun. "you can open your eyes now" "lom! what's going on? don't tell me you planned this with the kids" "yes, i asked the kids to help bring you here" wayo smiled as she appeared to reveal the surprise that had been planned. she had come up with this idea the night before and successfully prepared it with the help of the children early that morning. "don't do that—i woke up, and you were gone. i was worried" "sorry, but i've been with you the whole time. i didn't know when to prepare the surprise. i woke up early today to get ready" in truth, she had spent the whole night planning it, as she had felt a deep desire in their relationship that had been there long before anything had become clear between them. but as they spent every day together, their love grew stronger, making it harder to pull away. wayo wanted to make everything clear, to show catherine that she was committed to their love more than anything. "surprise?" "a flower crown. it might be a little crooked and not as pretty as rose's, but i made it for you" "it's beautiful.." "it's not as beautiful as you—but let me put it on you" catherine nodded and let wayo carefully place the flower crown on her head. she loved the surprise so much that she wanted to take a picture and keep it as a memory. she would treasure the effort of the one she loved, who loved her in return. "but that's not all" "there's more of a surprise?" "do you know, in my eyes, you're always a princess, and you'll always be my princess" "a matching ring?" wayo opened her hand to reveal a simple silver ring, two matching bands that she had found from the local area. they weren't royal diamonds, but every bit of their simplicity held pure love. "even though we've only known each other for a short time, we've been through dangerous situations and life-or-death moments together. we've built so many memories, proving the love we have for each other. i don't know if time matters in love. but i've never once doubted loving you—not even for a moment. i've always been confident in the love i have for you, and from this moment on, i always will be. and if you feel the same, there's one thing i want to ask you right now" "..." "blew, will you marry me?"

Yesterday I experienced one of the most moving moments of my life as I finally met Kasozi Kulaisi, a courageous young brother who had patiently waited a long time for us to connect. From the moment we started talking, I was struck by Kasozi's positive outlook. Although he lost both of his legs, he never lets that define him. He faces each day with remarkable determination, courage and hope. Spending time with him reminded me that true strength is not always physical. Sometimes, it is found in the way we choose to face life's challenges. Kasozi is a dedicated second-year student, and I would like to thank Makerere University Business School for giving him the opportunity to pursue his education and for supporting him throughout his journey. Your commitment to inclusive education is helping him build a brighter future. While his spirit is unbreakable, I believe we must do everything we can to make his daily life a little easier. An electronic wheelchair would give Kasozi the freedom and independence he deserves and make it much easier for him to get around. Figuring out how to get one for him is now my personal homework, and I am committed to seeing it through. Kasozi, thank you for welcoming me as your friend. It was an honour to spend time with you and hear your story. I pray that God continues to bless you, strengthen you and guide you every step of the way. Keep believing in yourself. Your spirit has inspired me, and I will be cheering you on every step of the way.

I think sometimes we the younger people in South East should pause and ask ourselves what exactly do we want as a region? What future do we want for ourselves? If you understand anything about projects delivery, you would agree that where the bulk of the work is at is on planning, conceptualisation, designs, looking for funds etc... Once you see construction going on, project is almost completed There are approximately 60 million Igbos across the world with about 85% of us living in Nigeria; we are ambitious people but also very difficult to manage because everyone is knowledgeable SEDC was created as a vehicle to intervene and drive development in our region but all we do everyday is to demonise those currently saddled with the responsibility of leading Nobody invites me to SEDC programmes even though I'm friends with some of the people running the commission but I will always show up to their events, ask for where I can help, contribute ideas, link those I can link up etc... I do all these things because if South East works, Nigeria has worked for me! But what I have realised is that most of our people on social media just want to abuse and demonise those running the commission for no just cause. There are criticisms borne out of love and genuine concern while some are borne out of ignorance and clout chasing No real development happens without planning for the future. This was the reason SEDC invited all our people for 3days event earlier this year for us to design 25years plan but most of you stayed away Now they have started funding young entrepreneurs in the region with the SEVCP yet you still don't want it You forget that for the commission to even be able to attract the kind of funding needed in the region, alot of work will be done on studies and planning Again I ask what do we really want as Ndigbo? A commission that will start white elephant projects like the Govs or a commission that will do the hard work required to redirect Alaigbo These everyday attacks on Mark Okoye and are not necessary If you want to know what the commission is doing, simply go to their website If you want to get involved and help with ideas, contacts and moral support like some of us, the commission will embrace you Bikonu Ndigbo let's stop and rethink our strategy towards development of our region

7️⃣: As Rin said, the reason I cried was because they were tears of happiness. As everyone can see, both of us have been in this industry for a very long time-10 years already. I was the one who sitting down there watching. I never had the chance to stand on stage or perform. This is probably the very first time that I get to perform a solo stage and truly do something I really want to do. I wanted to express my true feelings to everyone, and I never thought that I would have a day like this-a day where so many people would come to see me like this. Honestly, in the past, if just 10 people came to see me, I was already happy. Even if there were only one person left, I would still be very, very happy. So I never thought there would be a day where the hall is completely filled with people coming to see us, and where we receive love from so many different countries. I want to thank everyone so, so much for loving the work that both of us create. And we’ve become a safe zone for all of you.🥰 Let me stop here for now. If there’s anything more, I’ll continue later. I’ll let P’Kao speak. 9️⃣: Is Nong amazing? Phi will always be by your side, always standing behind you, and will stay by your side forever. You know, Nong have been through a lot of pressure, and also gone through so many expectations. I truly understand that being here is not easy. Getting into this career might be easy, but continuing to move forward like this is very, very difficult. And you’ve had to face so many things…I just want you to stay strong. 7️⃣: I also want to say that P’Kao is the same. P’Kao is someone who is very, very talented, and I want her to be confident in herself because she can do anything. P’Kao is truly amazing, and I want her to be this happy, to be a source of happiness for everyone. As everyone has seen, P’Kao always encourages people, always asks things like “Have you eaten yet?” That really is who she is someone who always takes care of others. Sometimes, she may forget to think about herself. So I want you to think about yourself more, to love yourself more, because everyone here loves you so, so much and I do too. I’ll always be right here. Whenever you turn around, you’ll see KaiYeh right here. LOVE DESIGN 1ST DRAWING #LoveDesign1stFanMeetTH

WHO REALLY ARE THE OBAMAS & WHY DID MALIA OBAMA REALLY CHANGE HER LAST NAME? We know for a fact that we've been lied to by our government for decades on numerous subjects and situations. Barack Obama is alleged to be an intelligence asset working for multiple countries and agencies, groomed by the CIA and others to take control of the U.S. and to destroy it from within. To fool the American people and to play the role properly of the all "American family," you would need a "family" to play the part. One question that has been floating around the headlines has always been: Is Michelle Obama really a woman, and are Obama's children really their own? They look awfully like the Nesbitts and traveled with the Obama's and their children everywhere they went. Even "delivered" the babies. But still, to this day, no pictures exist of Michelle Obama's pregnancy with either child. Another piece of damning evidence was from Joan Rivers who was caught on camera explaining that we already had the first gay president with Obama because she claimed Michelle Obama was a transgender and that everyone in the elite circles knew about it. Not too long after Joan River's claims, she mysteriously passed away allegedly during surgery. Maybe this also explains the heavy push for certain dangerous ideologies plaguing our society. Have you noticed that all of the celebrities' children are all of a sudden "transgender" now? Elon's father, along with many other celebrities, has claimed to know that Michelle Obama is really not a woman. Nobody cares what she does. But what we do care about is the truth. The people have a right to know if we'd been taken for a ride for 8 years while Obama was president. Do you believe the rumors and the evidence to be true? Are the Obama's children really their own? Why would so many celebrities and other prominent people say it was true?

I WISHED THAT HEAVEN HAD VISITING HOURS 😭 A month ago today.......My beloved Mum passed away 😭😭💔💔💔 When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure."...........🌼🌹 A beautiful soul in and out. We were beyond blessed to have you as our Mum. Where do I even begin????? My heart is broken in so many different ways💔 Deeply shattered and devastated 💔 😪 When Dad passed away on May 1st 2021, we knew it was going to be very hard most especially on you Mum. You and Dad were 5&6. After being married for 49 years....you were besties. You called him "kwatak nzugu" meaning "My Shoe" because you both did everything together. For the 33 years that you worked at Dental Centre @ ABU teaching hospital KD, Dad took you to work & brought you back home too when you closed. You had lunch & dinner together except for days where he was out of town. You never learnt how to drive because Dad was always available to take you everywhere. Loosing Dad, your soul mate, left you completely broken. You had struggled for 15 years with a neuro degenerating disease and every Doctor that came in contact with you said you were a walking miracle. Such was the faith that you had, not many will survive what your body endured for as long as you were able to . We knew it was going to be really hard for you carrying on with life without Dad. As your health deteriorated, we prayed like we never did, I had all the hope that you will be here with us for the long haul. We had dreams, we played out all the fun places we were going to travel to, we made a promise to Dad that we were going to take good care of you and will do everything humanly possible to give you the very best. I am glad that we did the best we could in the 2 years that Dad left us. It still feels surreal that you are no more here with us 💔 One thing I know for sure is that you have reunited with the love of your life...you struggled so much without Dad, we had one too many medical emergencies with you, days we thought we were going to loose you but then you will open your eyes and ask us to take you back home. Give Dad lots of hugs & kisses from me. I know for sure that you have reunited with your soul mate and the love of your life. I remember the wide smile you kept flashing at us whenever we call you 'Mrs Lucky" even while you were unconscious. I knew for sure that Dad was right there beside you holding your hands. If our words could make you stay and keep you here on earth for so many years, it would have happened. I will forever cherish the unforgettable memories we created with you in the last 2 years that we lost Dad. I lost count of the number of times we were in and out of the hospital but through it all we never lost faith. A strong woman of faith, your strength of character was unmatched and unrivaled, selfless & sacrificial.....you gave your all even to those whom we felt are undeserving of your love. You spoke your uncomfortable truth at all times. A phenomenonal mother you were. Everything we have and are today, we owe it to You and Dad. You both were amazing and gave us all that you could afford to. You had the most infectious smile, everyone who came in contact with you said that of you. You smiled all through your pain and had the most positive outlook all through your health challenges ✨️ You were our biggest cheerleaders and support system. The midnight prayers, the morning and evening prayers, waking up to see you at midnight on your knees saying your rosary for all for us, for our success and well being.....kai death 😭😭 I feel really lost right now and cant find meaning in what has happened . Loosing you and Dad in the space of 2years is something i never pictured would happened 😞 Life seems so incredibly cruel. RIP Queen Mother 💖🙏😇💜🧡 I miss you both so dearly 💔😭 I wished I had the right words to just go on and on...... Rest on Mummy.....until we meet to part no more 🙏 Your light will shine on forever!!!! 🌟 🤩 ⭐️

Disclaimer: This is my own translation of parts of #Flex1045xJossGawinConcert It's not a word for word translation, since the original conversation was quite long and JossGawin don't always speak in perfectly structured Thai. I've adjusted some wording and phrasing to make it flow more naturally and easier to understand in English. --------------------------------------------- 🎙: When did you first develop a passion for music? 🐧: I think I felt it from a very young age, back in elementary school. Before that, my mom had a guitar at home. She used to play it when she was in high school. 🐧: There was this guitar at our house, and as a kid I'd just strum it and mess around with it. I didn't really know how to play, but I liked experimenting with it. Then I came across some music-making apps on my phone. Back then they weren't touchscreens or anything, they had actual buttons. 🐧: I started seriously studying music when I was in elementary school, around Grade 3 or Grade 4. I also joined my school's marching band. That's when I began learning the trumpet. I stayed with it for a long time and really enjoyed it. I liked music so much that I even wanted to attend a music school. 🎙: Why did you choose the trumpet? 🐧: Honestly, at the time I didn't even know what a trumpet was. I joined a music class where everyone had to pick an instrument, but I had no idea what to choose. I didn't even know what a marching band was. They looked at me and basically decided, "Let's give this kid a trumpet." 🎙: So they chose it for you. You didn't choose it yourself. 🐧: Yeah, I didn't even choose it. I just started learning it from then on. After school, I'd continue with extra music lessons. I kept playing for years, and eventually I realized that I really liked it. 🎙: And your mom can play guitar too, right? 🐧: She can, to some extent. She knows chords and can sing while playing. She used to do that back when she played regularly. 🎙: Did your mom ever play with you or teach you? 🐧: When I was little, she taught me some basics, like what each string was and little things like that. But as I said, she hadn't played in a long time, so she had probably forgotten some things. Still, the guitar was always there. 🎙: So in a way, that guitar is something passed down from your mom to you. Do you still have it? 🐧: I do. But it probably needs some repairs because it's really, really old now.

🚨Danny Welbeck on his conversation with Sir Alex Ferguson before accepting Chelsea’s offer. 🎙️ Reporter: Danny, can you tell us about your conversation with Sir Alex Ferguson before you accepted Chelsea’s offer? 🗣️ Danny Welbeck: “It’s a moment I’ll never forget. My phone rang, and it came up as ‘No Caller ID’. I normally never answer those calls, but something told me to pick it up. The moment I heard the voice, I knew it was Sir Alex Ferguson. “He asked how I was doing and then told me Manchester United had decided to continue in a different direction. He said he would have loved to bring me back to Old Trafford, but the club’s project had changed and the timing simply wasn’t right. “Then he surprised me. He said, ‘Go to Stamford Bridge, go to Cobham and buy yourself a house near the water. Every morning at four o’clock, get up and train for three hours. People may not see your full potential today, but if you keep your head down, work hard and believe in yourself, you can make history at Chelsea.’ “I was honestly shocked. The last meaningful football conversation we had was when my future was away from Manchester United, so hearing those words of encouragement from someone I respect so much meant a lot to me. “Sir Alex has always understood what it takes to succeed at the highest level. It wasn’t just football advice—it was advice about discipline, mentality and believing in yourself even when others doubt you. “Joining Chelsea is the beginning of a new chapter in my career. I’m grateful for everything that has brought me to this point, but now my focus is entirely on this club. Every time I step onto the pitch, I want to prove that I still have a lot to offer, help Chelsea win trophies and repay the faith they’ve shown in me. That’s my mission.”
