sure. they would greatly improve layovers, even a few hours of sleep would greatly improve your day. Every hub airport should have them - and showers. Also $8 is a very good price.

For that money it's way better to pay a lounge access, with usually plenty of nap-optimized couches, shower and unlimited food in most airports. Even in Singapore you can get all that for less than 30 dollars if you catch an online offer.

Beats how I usually sleep at the airport, stretched out on the floor with a bag for a pillow I always feel bad when the people come round to vacuum the floor.

Terrible on multiple fronts: poor finish, cramped headroom for no reason, no soundproofing, nowhere to change, can only lie flat like a plank. And the price doesn’t match the conditions — feels like you’re paying for airport rent. This is a very bad deal!
