wouldn't a real tiger eat him when starving?🔥🔥
74 Comments

The film is outstanding; its visuals surpass those of many recent high-budget productions.

Even the storyline is top-notch

That’s the whole trick of the film. A real tiger would eat him which is why Pi builds the raft, marks territory, and keeps Richard Parker half-starved on fish.

Exactly 😂 Pi wasn’t trying to become best friends with Richard Parker—he was trying to survive

This is not the story of tiger and boy

It's what, then?

Movie; Secretary 🎬

The secretary so beautiful

La película es “La vida de Pi” (2012)

Provavelmente, mas o filme é uma alegoria.

And I still love the storyline though

É um ótimo filme. Até bateu vontade de assisti-lo novamente.

One of the greatest stories in movie history imo. The ending is nothing short of shocking and almost too brutally real.

From the start to finish was 🔥

Life of Pi

You don't forget movie

I’ve only read the book. I haven’t seen the movie.

I bet you'll enjoy the movie more.

Ang Lee’s Life of Pi, with its stunning visuals, reminded me so much of The Fall . . . the CGI in both is exceptional, perfectly complementing the idea of a unreliable narrator telling a dreamlike story that blurs the surreal line between reality & fantasy

The tiger isn’t real, it’s a projection of his own self

That's a lot to think of

He is the The Tiger, The Hyena is the Cook, the Zebra is the Sailor, the orangutan is his is mother. The Cook killed the Sailor and ate him, the Mom fought off the Cook but ended up being killed by the Cook and Pi killed the cook. The tiger....ate the Hyena and the orangutan 😅

Pi basically became the tiger’s weirdest survival partner. Richard Parker knew Pi meant food, water, and survival not exactly “pack,” but definitely a useful alliance. Eating Pi would’ve been the worst possible business decision at sea.

Pure fictional

No doubt

Why don't you try watching the movie 🤔. I guarantee you'll get an answer to that question

No lies

Loved this movie - but - watch after reading the book...loved the book

Both are just so interesting

there are cases out there where someone saved a tigers life and it never tried killing them

In a movie or reality?

Watch the movie man. And then tell us if the tiger wouldn't eat him when it's starved. The answers are all there

Once Richard Parker gets desperate enough from starvation, there’s no guarantee Pi stays off the menu. Survival instincts don’t care about friendship or strategy.

Starvation would make Richard Parker dangerously unpredictable, but Pi was also his only reliable source of fish and water. Why eat the provider first?

Exactly. Richard Parker wasn’t thinking like a business partner 😂 Pi wasn’t just the provider he was also the only other living thing keeping him from total isolation. But hunger could still override that relationship in a heartbeat.

Definetly - it`s true )

O tigre é ele

Mas esse não era de verdade.

Yeah, it wasn't, might happen in real life

one of the few movies where i cried

Do people still cry at a movie?

i mean it was like 10 years ago and i was watching that in the tv

I understand better now, so what made you cry?

well it was kinda long time ago, but from what i remember like this guy was sailing with those animals for so long and in the end tiger was the only one remaining, but also left him, like they went to the island, later someone rescued him and that tiger stayed on the island

That was a such a beautiful Movie.. Watched it when it first came out In the Cinemas Life Of Pi

And what do you think about the movie

The animals are an analogy, this isn't just some film about a boy and a tiger

Maybe the movie is deeper than I thought

read the book, sister

Yeah, I really want to read the book. Order it already

He is the tiger. Read the books

No has pillado la película, el tigre no existe.

Please explain to me why you say so, was it just an illusion?

Wow I think I'm beginning to understand this movie more

Better start fishing lol.

So he can start feeding the tiger right 😂

The tiger is a metaphor of a person, it's not a real tiger.

The twist of this movie though, disturbing 😳

@Sephanade That's exactly what makes the movie interesting

Oh man… this movie is amazing!! A lot of metaphores

I love it til date

This movie was an unique experience.

I can’t forget it so soon

I think it was a true life story or something

I just have to go and watch the movie

The tiger is figuratively himself.

That's really true 😂

As unique a movie as you will ever see.

I think that the perfect world for the movie

I remember watching this for the first time and thinking… wait, what? 😂

Like what did I just watch 😀

Right xD
