@StormHour Nice footage. Key West - good place to film waterspouts and out toward Dry Tortugas. NE and SW wind profiles were the best days.

@StormHour I'd wake up and check out the 1Km resolution vis Sat image and see where the cumulus line was building. Then I'd head out from Big Pine Key. Lower Keys had better viewing from the road. Sometimes I'd meet up w/ my Cessna pilot at Sugarloaf & we orbit them. Good times.

🌪️ TORNADO HITS LONG ISLAND Incredible video from Donny Doc “Doc Don Don” who captured a waterspout moving onshore and causing significant damage at the Atlantic Beach Club in Nassau County this evening. Extensive damage has been reported at the club. The National Weather Service will need to survey the area to officially determine whether this was a tornado and assign a rating. Based on the damage visible so far, my preliminary estimate would be EF0 to low-end EF1 intensity — but we’ll wait for the official NWS assessment. See you at 7AM - 10AM on PIX 11

Walking uninhibited and going immediately back to taunting the middle of the police line, while his friends dance around also faking like they had been injured too. Nick Joanides was a longtime fixture in the West Coast stock car scene and very accomplished on it. At the national level, he attempted a single Nationwide Series race at Memphis in 2009 but wasn't fast enough to qualify. Just a sad day all around. RIP
