Wow. Here’s Robert De Niro’s full statement about how Donald Trump should NEVER be president again: “I’ve spent a lot of time studying bad men. I’ve examined their characteristics, their mannerisms, the utter banality of their cruelty. Yet there’s something different about Donald Trump. When I look at him,...

One President- says mean words and promotes conservative legislation about abortion and women’s rights. He’s the devil Other President- bombs women and children in Gaza, pressures Ukraine to keep sending their young men to die in an unwinable war, weaponized the justice system to try to a prevent his political opponents from running for election, denies secret service to a Kennedy and pushes him out of the DNC to try to remove more competition from the election, oh yeah- and is clearly being blackmailed via his son by a genocidal foreign ethno-state. He’s the only hope for democracy. 🤦‍♂️

Yet there’s something different about Donald Trump. When I look at him, I don’t see a bad man. Truly, I see an evil one. Robert De Niro’s 🔥

Robert De Niro's statement is a powerful call to action, emphasizing the dangers of allowing Donald Trump to return to the presidency and urging unity in addressing this threat to democracy. It underscores the importance of reaching out to Trump's supporters with respect and focusing on shared values like humanity, kindness, and decency to end the divisive and turbulent era his presidency brought.

Van Hollen: Now, we know the state of our Union. We know it is under attack from a lawless president who is shredding our Constitution and attacking our democracy. A president whose private ICE army kills Americans and then calls the victims “domestic terrorists.” That is what Donald Trump and his administration said. We are here because we know our country is being robbed by the most corrupt president in American history — one who is exploiting the Oval Office to enrich himself, his family, and his billionaire buddies. A president who continues to hide portions of the Epstein files from both survivors and the American people. When are they going to release the files? A president who wants to erase our history. Are we going to let him erase America’s history? A president who promised that on day one he would bring down costs — but ever since he was sworn in, prices have gone up on the American people, even as he refuses to extend tax cuts and tax credits that help families afford their health care. We have a president who seeks not to build a more perfect union, but to tear it down. A president who said he would stop wars — but instead is responsible for war crimes and, as we speak, is threatening more wars. We are gathered here because we know we cannot pretend that any of this is normal. We will not — and must not — pretend this is business as usual. We must get in the way of Donald Trump’s march toward fascism. We cannot let our country go down that road. What Donald Trump wants to do is what all bullies do — what all dictators do. He wants to intimidate us. He wants us to sit obediently and quietly while he lies and lies and lies to the American people.

Powerful... Sage Steele: "Like, how did we get here? Number one, pure evil. Absolutely. We cannot deny that." "Also, I think for those of us in the middle, middle-right, conservative, Republican, what did we do for so many years? Really, starting in 2008, we stayed quiet. Why? Because that's the right thing to do. Just, you know, give your opinion based on your vote, right?" "But that allowed the wrong people to take over every platform and have every single microphone and therefore for our kids, and frankly, most of America, to hear only negatives, only false things, only ugliness, and people calling the president Nazi and Charlie Kirk Nazis in the worst of terms." "So what we did in silence, in an attempt to do the right thing, is we allowed the wrong people to take over. And so, for all the athletes that I know and you know, and politicians and Hollywood elites who have been whispering quietly and afraid to say anything for fear of losing their job, which I understand, it's real, for fear of their brand being affected or their pocketbook, to what end?" "When is enough enough? Because we let them, the bad guys, take over everything to our detriment. Thank God Charlie Kirk did not live in fear, to inspire people like you and me and so many others who over the last few years have come and spoken up. But it's not enough. And today is proof. Evil, an evil act took place, but no more." "And so I beg everybody on all sides, but especially those of us who tried to do the right thing and stay quiet, to look in the mirror and say, it is time. We don't have to do it violently though. We can do it the right way, leading with God, leading with our faith, and looking at the way Charlie chose to do it." "He knew the risks. He did it anyway. It is time the rest of us, frankly, suck it up and go do the right thing and stand up for what is right in this country."

We are not okay, and that’s okay to say. I wish I could tell you that we are standing here and that the rest of the world is standing with us. With you. Sadly I can’t say that. There is a loud and aggressive minority around the world who doesn’t get, that being murdered at a peace festival does not equal resistance. I do however, know that we are standing here on behalf of all those people in the world, with moral clarity. And there are a lot of them. And there are many who want to be here with you. And they are here with you at heart. On October 7th, your loved ones went to Nova. We call it a peace music festival because that’s what it was—a place to make new friends, to let loos explore and celebrate life. And this juxtaposition hurts the most —because on that day, the light your loved ones were, was met with the most unimaginable darkness. Our lives will never be the same. But today, as we remember them, we also make a promise: to honor their memory by living as they would have. As we stand here in grief, we have a message to the world: we will not be defeated. Israel was attacked on October 7th and every day since, for the crime of existing. For the audacity of just being here. But we are here, and we are here to stay. And despite the trauma we’ve faced, we are in Israel, standing strong together, committed to the memories of those we lost and to the return of our hostages. We, despite the pain and alongside it, are going to build a brighter future. Together. We will dance again. Am Yisrael Chai Forever
