Wow. I just got off the phone from THREE sources that Club Lambda BK’s final night was shut down early by NYPD and FD because a group of gays from Pittsburgh l, CT, and Queens called them because they got tired of waiting outside in line for over 45... minutes — only to discover the club was less than half full with a low key “masked” party happening in the basement area. Allegedly, there was a prepaid fee to get inside before a certain time, which most of the people in line paid, but was held up outside so that they might have to pay additional to get in, despite them showing up early and the venue being less than half full. Damn. It shouldn’t have gone out like that. This is supposed to be the last hurrah of the only Black gay nightclub in Brooklyn. 🤷🏾‍♂️ video taken by Jeremiyahhhshow more

Look, I think you know two million Pennsylvanians don’t have access to SNAP right now, don’t have access to food right now. Literally yesterday, as I was driving to a polling place in Philadelphia, I saw lines stretching three to four blocks long—and then around the corner—of people waiting in line for a pop-up food pantry just to be able to eat. A number of them had “I Voted” stickers on. Think about that. In Donald Trump’s America, people are going hungry because he shut down the government. And by the way, they’re going hungry in a country where we produce more than enough food for everyone to eat. So to your point earlier, you’ve got a president of the United States who’s gotten richer—and you’ve got a whole bunch of people who are worse off because of the chaos he’s inflicted. Think about that again. Driving to a polling place yesterday, people were showing up to vote against chaos and extremism, and they had to pass a pop-up food pantry where families were lined up around the block because Donald Trump took away their food stamps. This is the America we’re in. And thankfully, voters showed up here in Pennsylvania—and in many other states—and rejected that. They chose a better way.

I want to preface this with the following: I know that streaming in public is going to cause passersby to be curious, ask what you're doing, or even ask to be on camera. I am not opposed to this, and I understand that filming in public is opening myself up to situations like this. But I also try to be low-key and keep others out of frame while I am doing my IRL streams. I try to make it clear that I am not trying to be a "spectacle" type of IRL stream. Now for the context of this clip. I was IRL streaming at the mall and was being followed and harassed by a group of about 6 teenagers the entire time I was there. In this clip, you can hear them screaming because they knew I was coming and they wanted to cause a scene. You can also hear them yelling at me saying "let me be on your twitch". They then proceeded to hunt me down the rest of the time I was at the mall. I've been IRL streaming for three years and this week I have experienced more harassment from people (exclusively teenagers) than I have in the past three years combined. I understand that a lot of kids are being exposed to live streaming, and it's probably exciting to them to see a streamer in the wild, but when did kids become so rude and demanding? I know I'm an adult and they're just kids, but it's still unnerving to be followed and yelled at by a group of people regardless of their age.

That one time David Deutsch spoke to Richard Feynman: “We had a wide-ranging conversation, mostly about quantum theory and computation, but we deviated a bit to talk about physics generally. I don’t think he had any objection to this concept of being taught a thing or to have a curriculum, but he thought it was becoming narrower and narrower. And the reason it’s becoming narrower is because that’s the only way you can base it on exams. And if you want to have a world in which most people go to university, let’s say, then you need to have standards for going to university. And these standards have to be determined by exams, otherwise it’s unfair. And if they’re determined by exams, they have to be determined by a uniform curriculum. When I was in school, there was no national curriculum. Every school had its own curriculum. There were dozens of different examination boards that set exams, and each school could choose: we’ll have this board for physics, and we’ll have this board for history, according to what the teachers in the school thought was a good idea to force their pupils to learn. So that part of it wasn’t the way I would have it. But the state didn’t take a view, and most importantly, it didn’t take a uniform view that everybody in the country had to learn this thing. And that was the thing that Feynman was objecting to—that everybody in the country learning the same thing. And by the time they get to university and by the time they’ve done an undergraduate degree, they’ve learned to become proficient. I mean, those that pass through the sieve and eventually get to become physicists or something, they have all learned how to do the same thing in the same way. I’ve been swarmed like this while driving in Florida. The kids were in a huge group, I couldn’t tell how many there was but it seemed like 50 of them or more. Lucky for me I wasn’t driving, I was a passenger in an Uber trying to get to the airport. The Uber driver must have had experience with them because he was just driving along like normal while I was thinking they were going to hit us. The rest of the ride seemed to go without a hitch. This woman was just going to the store when they looked like they targeted her and was riding the bikes recklessly. They were swerving as if they were going to hit her and riding while doing wheelies. I don’t know about you but I’m tired of this. I can only speak out against this for so many times until something bad happens and then everyone wants to play the blame game and act surprised that it happened. Am I against kids having fun? No of course not. But I want them to be safe too instead of becoming a statistic. There has to be a better way of dealing with them, maybe ban the unlicensed version and only sell the one that has to have a plate and registration. That would require them to have insurance and proper training. Do I have the answer? No I don’t, but somebody does and we have to figure this out.

They were coming, they were the ones who go down in the mines, no Burkinabè was there. They were the ones who will come out and say, “Ah, this is what we got! And we only had to nod and accept it.” Once it leaves the mines, it goes directly to the airport where a plane ✈️ is waiting for it, and when it’s finally loaded, it takes off and that was it. Nothing stays in the country. Is this acceptable? This is unacceptable! But it’s over now! These young ladies were out having a good time, they were invited by an event planner. While inside, they noticed that some men kept coming up and pestering them and offering to buy them drinks. They planned on going to another bar, when they went outside the same men followed them outside. As soon as that happened, a woman came up to them, she looked worried and came up to them and pretended to be a friend of theirs that they haven’t seen in a long time. When they were out of ear shot of the men, she leaned in and told them what was going on. She invited them to go and hang out with her crowd so they could leave safely through the back. I think she knowingly saved them from being taken, we hear about this a lot from tourist areas, is it possible that many of the establishments are in on it?

And it had been maintained by one person in his spare time for the last 20 years. And then a couple years ago, somebody just decided to start helping him. And within six months of getting control of the project, they had put in a carefully orchestrated set of malware that was really hard to detect and no one noticed.
