If Canadians don't get US Constitutional Rights instead of our toilet paper called a Charter...I wouldn't vote for this deal. We'll just become economic slaves with toilet paper rights. Our Charter is garbage. The "pandemic" proved that without a shadow of a doubt.

Oddly enough, I'm starting to see that becoming part the US is the far better alternative than China, Russia or even India taking us over. Check out Groks answer to my question.. figgin scary!! Given the last decade in Canadian political arena, what foreign country seems to want to take control of canada? GROKS REPLY: (unedited)1. 3 posts 25 web pages Based on the political discourse and events in Canada over the last decade, China has frequently been cited in discussions, reports, and official statements as a country attempting to exert significant influence or control over Canada. Here's an overview based on available information: Intelligence and Security Concerns: Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and other officials have publicly identified China as a significant threat to Canada's sovereignty through various means like election interference, economic espionage, and influencing diaspora communities. This includes allegations of targeting Canadian politicians, academics, and business leaders. 2. Election Interference: There have been several inquiries and reports, including those from public commissions and parliamentary committees, discussing potential interference by China in Canadian elections. These include attempts to support or discredit political candidates based on their stance towards China, particularly around the 2019 and 2021 federal elections. 3.Economic Influence: China's economic influence in Canada, especially in sectors like real estate, technology, and natural resources, has been scrutinized. Concerns include the use of state-owned enterprises, investments in strategic sectors, and the potential for these investments to influence Canadian policy or public opinion. 4.Diplomatic and Cyber Activities: Incidents involving diplomats, the arrest of Huawei's CFO Meng Wanzhou in Canada at the behest of the U.S., and subsequent retaliatory actions against Canadians in China (detention of Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig) highlighted tensions. Additionally, there have been numerous reports of cyber espionage and data theft attributed to Chinese state actors. 5.Public and Political Discourse: The discussion on X (formerly Twitter) and in various media outlets often reflects a sentiment of concern regarding China's influence in Canada. This includes not just official government actions but also through soft power, cultural influence, and in the realm of disinformation. 6.Legislation and Policy Responses: These concerns have led to legislative proposals and policy shifts, including considerations for foreign influence registries, tighter investment rules, and increased scrutiny of foreign state actors. It's important to note that while China has been highlighted, other nations like Russia and, to some extent, India have also been mentioned in similar contexts, particularly with regards to influence operations or interference in Canadian affairs. However, the volume and specificity of concerns related to China, especially in official reports and intelligence assessments, place it prominently in discussions about foreign influence in Canada.

Trump heard Kamala made up a story about previously working at a McDonald's, so he decided to pick up a shift himself. We're lovin' it!

I’d support Mr. Wonderful going to Mara Lago to flesh this out in a heartbeat! Much rather be American than Chinese. We don’t have the Military strength to deal with the Artic issues on our own & our govt is a fucking joke, right now. Anyone in favor of a good free trade agreement can see it’s really just the next logical step. The only reason people think it’s a bad idea is because of feelings, not logic. 🤷🏼‍♀️
