Sir in my city Kolhapur also had a Polish refugee camp which was set by Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj. The relatives of refugees come every year visit the cemetery of dead ones.

Some of them were buried in the present day premises Sainik School Balachadi, Jamnagar. Their descendants and other Polish people visit the place regularly to express gratitude and thanks. Proud to be Indian.🙏🏻🇮🇳

didnt many Poles enlist with the newly established Pakistan Air Force in the late 1940s

Anather king was छत्रपती जी ऑफ कोल्हापूर , who gives shelter to polish people

Abided this place for seven years. Studied there. Always remembering the plaque in the campus elevated in the memories of these Polish children. Nostalgic memories. The Good Maharaja in true sense.

So great and so good of Jam Saheb! But does Poland Govt value this greatness and generousity of Jam Saheb while maintaining and valuing relationship with Bharat?

and few people pass us sermons on human rights.
