That discussion eventually led to them being reported to the police, arrested and detained for eight hours, and investigated for five weeks on suspicion of malicious communications and harassment. With the support of the Free Speech Union, Maxie and Rosalind have received £20,000 in compensation from Hertfordshire Police, who have now admitted to wrongful arrest. But they still haven’t apologised.
