This is an outrage. PL 88-260 provided for the renaming of the National Cultural Center as the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. They are illegally changing the name on the building to Trump-Kennedy Center. The National Security Act of 1947 provided for the name Department of Defense (and Secretary of Defense). Pete Hegseth illegally changed the name on the Pentagon to Department of War, which is only a secondary name provided by an Executive Order. Only Congress can change the name of the John F Kennedy Center. Only Congress can change the name of the Department of Defense.
