The majority of mail delivered by USPS is junk mail advertisements. USPS loses billions a year so our tax dollars subsidize junk mail. We don’t need the US postal service. Just let private companies like FedEx,UPS and DHL compete.

My father work for the postal service for over 40 yrs. And always said. People clock in and go home come back and work overtime. It was allows people screwing the company over. Corruption to the max.

Our mailman is constantly dropping off other peoples mail in our mailbox. If we have mail to go out on a Saturday, he will give us our mail but not take the outgoing mail. I stopped by our local USPS to drop off a package and their system was down, something to do with the new rates not calculating on their computers. I expect the USPS will be defunct within the next 10 years or less.

Ordered a gift for my daughter. Shipped via USPS. Left Avenel, NJ, went to Mableton, ga, Atlanta, ga, Macon. Ga, Bonaire, ga, Perry, ga (which was final destination). But then goes to Statesboro, ga, Atlanta, ga, and finally back to Perry and delivered. Took 6 days. WTH??

I worked for the USPS for about a year after I retired from the Navy. The union workers certainly think they are worth that big paycheck they make. As a former O & I level aircraft mech & maintenance/production manager, I had to laugh at how exhausted they be after sorting mail for a few hours. It's crazy and the USPS is chock full of lazy, unproductive dishonest people they apparently can't fire.

Certified mail with signatures required is no longer guaranteed. You pay the exorbitant fee to require a signature upon delivery & they tell you they won't guarantee a signature will be obtained. My husband has this problem all the time. And prices are horrendous.

Businesses like mine who used to depend faithfully on the USPS are considering shutting down because so many packages are disappearing now. The most Insidious thing is most of them make it to the post office of the addressee and then disappear before being delivered. @usps

This dad called 911 because his seven year old autistic son wasn’t behaving and was having a tantrum. The officer that spoke with him told the father that it was completely inappropriate to call the police over this. He said they have an entire town to protect and three officers responded and then asks the dad while chuckling - “can’t handle a seven year old?” The dad tells him that he has called 911 twice before but no one has ever got mad at him like this officer. The officer tells him that they are approaching charging him with false summoning a police officer. He also tells him that if he can’t handle a seven year then maybe they should get CYS involved because clearly the dad needs parenting classes. 😳 Many said the officer was rude and didn’t have to be. That his job is to protect and SERVE the community and that the family was just reaching out, that he needed support and someone to to talk to because they have no idea how hard it is to raise an autistic child? But others said this is not a job for a police officer, that they aren’t counselors and therapists and that there are many resources available through the city that he should using. 💯 I am team police officer. Some may find it rude but this is not in their job description. And being the third time? You have to put a stop to the 911 calls. What do you think? Oklahoma sheriff department and local PD have a blow up while out on a call. The conflict began when a Lexington Police officer pulled over a black SUV for speeding (85 mph in a 55 mph zone). The driver was Cleveland County Sheriff Chris Amason, who was in a marked vehicle but was out of uniform. Amason informed the officer he was responding to a high-priority "SWAT call" involving a barricaded subject and an injured officer in the nearby town of Noble. The Lexington officer allowed the Sheriff to proceed but immediately notified his Chief. When Lexington Police Chief Ronnie Johnson and his officers arrived at the active tactical scene to offer assistance and investigate why their local police hadn't been notified of an operation in their jurisdiction, the situation escalated. Lieutenant John Szymanski of Cleveland County Sheriff's Office confronted the Lexington officers, telling them to "get the f*** out of my face." A physical scuffle broke out between Lieutenant Szymanski and a Lexington officer. Dude rips into tyrant officer who lied about the reason he pulled him over. ​The video starts with Officer Nablo pulling over a motorcyclist right outside his own home. Right out of the gate, the officer asks didn't you hear me when I was trying to pull you over? The rider said no, because he has a Bluetooth speaker in his helmet. The officer falsely claims having helmet speakers is illegal (spoiler: it’s not). So this was off to a wonderful start. ​When the rider directly asks, "Why are you pulling me over first?" the officer completely deflects, stating it's simply "to ID who you are." That is a massive red flag. Officers need reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime to initiate a traffic stop—they cannot just pull you over to demand papers and see who you are. ​It isn't until long after the confrontation begins, after the officer has already demanded ID, that he walks to the back of the motorcycle to look for a retroactive justification. He then tries to claim that the plate has to be visible and says he can't see the plate. The rider pushes back calling out it officer for lying. •Gauteng Traffic Officer faces criminal charges following heated confrontation with Ekurhuleni Metro Police A police officer from the Gauteng Traffic Police is facing criminal charges after being captured on cell phone video during a heated argument with Ekurhuleni metro police officers. A case of intimidation, common assault, grievous bodily harm, defeating the ends of justice, and interfering with police duties has been opened against the officer. The male traffic officer is seen swearing and making obscene gestures at a female EMPD officer, calling them illiterate and a clown. He also told the EMPD officers that he would take the pension fund of the EMPD officials. The EMPD officials had stopped a female motorist, who then called the traffic officer to assist her. The motorist was driving a vehicle with a foreign number plate. The EMPD officers had to stop the vehicle for inspection when the woman motorist reached out to the Gauteng Traffic officer, who came running. Upon arriving at the scene, the Gauteng Traffic officer started insulting the officers and interfering with the duties of the metro police in Ekurhuleni. This prompted the Member of the Mayoral Committee of Community (MMC) for Safety, Sizakele Masuku, to condemn the incident. MMC Masuku condemned the intimidation of the EMPD officers by a Gauteng Traffic Police member. It is alleged that this is not the first incident of this nature involving this Gauteng Traffic officer, and more preliminary investigations are underway. A case of intimidation, common assault, grievous bodily harm, defeating the ends of justice, and interfering with police duties has been opened against the officer. The male traffic officer is seen swearing and making obscene gestures at a female EMPD officer, calling them illiterate and a clown. He also told the EMPD officers that he would take the pension fund of the EMPD officials. The EMPD officials had stopped a female motorist, who then called the traffic officer to assist her. The motorist was driving a vehicle with a foreign number plate. The EMPD officers had to stop the vehicle for inspection when the woman motorist reached out to the Gauteng Traffic officer, who came running. Upon arriving at the scene, the Gauteng Traffic officer started insulting the officers and interfering with the duties of the metro police in Ekurhuleni. This prompted the Member of the Mayoral Committee of Community (MMC) for Safety, Sizakele Masuku, to condemn the incident. MMC Masuku condemned the intimidation of the EMPD officers by a Gauteng Traffic Police member. It is alleged that this is not the first incident of this nature involving this Gauteng Traffic officer, and more preliminary investigations are underway. The MMC further reiterated that no officer is above the law and such behavior is unacceptable. She called on officers to uphold all the rules of law. Hands down one of the worst officers ever. Hunesville PD pull over elderly woman with her wheelchair bound husband and leaves them on the side of the road at 2am to figured out how to get home. ​Meet Hinesville Police Officer Todd Parmentier. He pulled over 71-year-old Army veteran Debra Mobley-Sadler Sims and her 75-year-old husband, Bobby Sims, who is an amputee. The officer initiated the stop based on a flag from the Georgia Crime Information Center indicating their vehicle was uninsured. The officer informed the couple that the car is getting towed because they do not have insurance. Debra corrected him by offering to show the valid insurance on her phone through USAA. Parmentier refused to acknowledge the valid insurance and doubled down on what the system told him refusing to believe the possibility of an error. Worse yet he informed them that the tow truck was already in route meaning he called for the tow before he even approached the vehicle to engage with the couple. ​Even after recognizing there was a system error due to there being two registered owners on the vehicle, the officer chose to double down—issuing a citation and towing their vehicle. The most disgusting part is the husband is wheelchair bound as he only has one leg, the officer is well aware of this. Officer Seriously Injured in Drug Sales Arrest; Suspect given $100 Bond Option BOULDER, Colo. – A Boulder Police officer was seriously injured last night after a drug suspect tried to run and the pair fell into Boulder Creek during the struggle. Despite the suspect’s criminal history, the serious nature of this crime, and the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office asking for a $20,000 secured bond, County Court Judge Eang Man gave the suspect a $1,000 bond with the option to only pay $100 to be released. “This incident is deeply troubling—not only because one of our officers was injured as a direct result of a suspect fleeing, but because it highlights the very real dangers that drug trafficking poses to our entire community,” Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfearn said. “I also have serious concerns about whether the full risk to our community, the severity of this incident, and risk to and impact on our officers was reflected in the bond decision. This is a pattern that is frustrating because these bond decisions directly impact community safety and the well-being of the men and women who serve Boulder, as well as their families.” Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty said, “This defendant is charged with a serious drug felony.
