WOW: Things got HEATED between #NFL analyst Tedy Bruschi and former QB Alex Smith today on ESPN. Bruschi says CJ Stroud did NOT deserve a record contract and said “I don’t want my QB wanting to throw for 4500 yards” GAMES HAVEN’T EVEN STARTED. 💀

Bruschi arguing with a QB, about QBs, will never not be entertaining. wtf does Bruschi know about quarterbacking?!

Alex Smith is a moron. Stroud has an elite WR1 with Nico Collins. He also has a solid WR2 and WR3. Stop making excuses. Stroud is not elite.

Usually I don’t agree with Bruschi on a lot of things, he’s bias to me on most things but he’s spot on on this CJ needs to prove he should be paid that much,

He does have a talented defense yes. But when your team refused to invest real money in a o line until recently and you can’t run the ball with a rookie OC… obviously he’s not gonna look as good. Not to mention Nico, tank, and Dalton getting hurt. Herbert/Maye or is elite ig

nahhh Tedy you wrong. When you give CJ weapons, you give him a real chance to compete.

Oh Alex. Are you really watching the Texans play football?

Tedi Bruschi is a complete dumb ass you can't win without a offensive line. Ask Joe Burrow about not having O Line in the past or a Defense in thr now. Bruschi knows nothing about QB play.

Voices like Alex are the reason why Tua, DeSean, Kyler, and countless other QBs get huge contracts when they shouldn’t have. Kills the franchise overpaying middle of the road QBs

CJ Stroud has not missed a beat from last year. Taking sacks in crucial situations and continues to fumble the ball. He must have toddler hands.

Bruschi's take: punish quarterbacks for producing. 4500 yards isn't vanity... it's offense doing its job. If that scares you, fix the defense, don't veto production.

Nico Collins is heads and shoulders better than ANY WR on the Bills and it's not close. Also Schultz is a top 10 TE. Had Tank Dell when he isn't injured. Now Montgomery at RB...CJ has MORE than enough weapons.

Bruschi is a gay, you can see it all over his face, no man gets this angry about a game unless he is in fact a gay.

Every QB gets paid WAY TOO MUCH. It’s absolutely ridiculous the pay disparity.

His leg is done but his brain is sharp. Bruschi cannot stand against him, he is a lousy analyst

Stroud has an elite WR Nico Colllins and a very good pass catching TE Schultz. And now Boutte is on the team, who was Drake Maye's #2 WR last season. Maye also had O line problems and was still runner up for MVP.

CJ lost Collins multiple games. Tank Dell super early in the season. Mitchell and Higgins got hurt too.

Stroud better just take what the Texans are offering or he might fumble the bag! If the Texans are offering him any more than 45+ million dollars per year, he should sign the damn contract like yesterday! If he’s holding out for 60 million dollars a year, he’s gonna be screwed!

In all the years I’ve watched football, I’ve never seen a quarterback take a sack like CJ does at key moments. He has no clue how to get rid of the ball and either gets sacked on key third/fourth downs or fumbles getting hit. CJ is mid
