I always say life was better before the internet...

does this remind you of something?

I don't think "Online" is representative, as it can still refer to spending time with family, friends, and co-workers. Even school, church, neighbors, college lessons, and remote parties instead of going to bars or restaurants have become common since COVID happened.

Could you please provide us with the source of this information?

They failed to include work. Most people in the United States spend more time at work than anywhere else in their lifetime. At least during the awake time.

I believe this.. shocking. though i too am guilty of spending more time online than with real people. i basically do not want to deal with a lot of people, part of it is Im an introvert, other reasons, i just dont care to deal with new friends, going thru getting to know them, stupid small talk, and dealing with their lives and trusting them only to get disappointed.. Yes i sound like a heartless bitch but its the truth. Life is much easier being an introvert.

It's unfortunate, but as a teacher, I can confirm that it's true. Many kids today struggle to communicate with each other. They often lack basic skills like making eye contact, listening attentively, and responding when someone talks to them.

The internet once offered an escape from reality now, for many, it is the reality.

That is crazy!!

Church went almost back to 1939 levels! 🙏🙏🙏
