He’s full of shit. The minimum drinking age didn’t change from 18 to 21 until 1984 with the minimum drinking age act. Vietnam was over by 1975.

Ventura enlisted @ 18 (1969). During a deployment, he turned 20 (July 1971) &returned home shortly after-still 20. Minnesota's drinking age was 21 then, so he couldn't buy beer despite serving. He turned 21 in July 1972. About 35 States disallowed drinking until 21 at the time.

And he made a boatload of money off of the SEAL name in movies, WWE, and elected Governor. Did he change anything when he was elected Governor. Not really. The guy is a blow hard to stay relevant. It's all about him in his mind.

That war WAS a modern day version of The Children's Crusade in the Middle Ages. Those demented fucks reasoned that the Almighty would surely back an army of Christian kids. Wrong. The average age of Americans sent there was 19. And priests sprinkled holy water on helicopters.
