Andrew Probyn says according to his maths it comes to about 260k migrants under One Nation’s plan. “That’s quite a lot more than 130k”💥

Business lobbies would not be happy if One Nation actually cut immigration to Australia. A sharp reduction in immigration would seriously hurt economic growth. Australia already has an immigration intake that is broadly proportionate to the country’s economic needs.

Cutting valuable workers just to score political points might work for politicians but business absolutely suffers.

David Farley was impressive, articulate and across his numbers. If #PHON is to succeed they will need to support his assertions and stay disciplined. That may be a bridge too far for @PaulineHansonOz and her team lacking Farley's intellect and grasp of issues.

I disagree, I think David Farley did an exceptional job. He literally went into the lions den of the left wing ABC, he answered the questions, he didn’t use hype or avoid giving straight answers, like every other politician that has ever been on Insiders. The panel look deflated

Interesting spin on what was actually said. What he did say was ON was focusing on the right skills coming in to support our food chain. Not the unskilled migrants being allowed in by Labor, to manicure peoples nails in the cities. Plus also ensuring the illegal immigration issue is reviewed and the 80k people addressed.

Its 60 years today since my parents migrated to Australia. But my father was already skilled and walked into a job a week after they landed in Australia and they are celebrating this wonderful milestone knowing they spent many years in their business surrounded by wonderful people from this country who supported their businesses and themselves The issue is about concentrating on bringing in skilled people migrants where ever possible who contribute to society, build a family and grow their businesses through sheer hard work Other nations have scouts surveying the world for the best skilled or the best talent and lure them to their country to grow their country through skilled and educated people, including poaching students before they even graduate to go over to work in their country Australia has the potential to skill their own local people as well as bring in migrants with unique skills

So the proposition for voting One Nation is higher migration than Labor, no workplace protections, lose the PBS, lose the 12% super guarantee, lose childcare, lose parental leave, spike the debt by blowing the budget with $400b in un-costed defence spending, but smokes are cheap?
