I wanted to take a moment to talk about my early stages in golf and hopefully this helps someone out there getting into the game. This video is from 2013, around 1 year into golf and I was shooting mid- low 90s. My Dad was a teaching pro so the fundamentals came easy. However, all my friends at the time played since they were 5 years old and I felt a ton of pressure trying to “catch up”. Golf never seemed to come easy for myself. I struggled really bad for 2-3 years before I saw any true progress. I was never a “natural” at the game At this time, my main goal was to play college golf so a lot of progress needed to take place. So, we moved to Florida as a family for my dads job and that’s when everything changed. I began to practice each day for 3-5 hours. I realized since I wasn’t a natural, I had to work harder then everyone. My scores began to drop into the 70s consistently after 3-4 years of playing. When I started seeing these results I got even more motivated. To play in college I needed to be posting low scores in competitive junior tournaments. These environments I believe took my game even to another level. I began shooting in the low 70s and 60s on a consistent basis. Getting to this point easily took 5 years of grinding, while some of my friends it took 2-3 years. I did end up playing 4 years of D2 college golf and posted a lot of scores I’m super proud of. My overall point is people progress at different speeds in this game. I realize not everyone can’t practice 5 hours a day. But if you haven’t seen results right away, or even years into the game, never give up. Something might click and everything could change!

One year ago today I was almost home from a chase out in west Texas, and the last thing I expected was a cow to be in the middle lanes of 820 in north Fort Worth. Going highway speed in the dark didn’t give me time to react at all, and I hit the cow, airbags went off, and I almost lost control. I will never be in my mid 30’s, hanging out at a 19 year olds house. He was only doing this cause he once had what I had, but fucked it up and lost it all. Now he has to find another way to cope, and that coping mechanism is putting a 19 year old down to make himself feel up. In 14 years, when I’m his age, I will NEVER be acting like this💀

This family was at the beach. They got there early and set up in front so they could watch their kids play in the water. Then this family shows up and they set up in front of them. 🤯 There was no one to the left or the right of them. Clear as could be. 😳 A lot of people said they should have moved closer so no one could set up in front of them. But many others said if the beach was open and there was no one to the left or right of them then that is just plain rude. I always leave a little sand in front in case my kids want to play or we usually throw our boogie boards in front. I’d have been irritated and would have asked them to move. 💯 What do you think? I’ve been thinking a lot about stamina systems in my game. A lot of players hate stamina because it limits how much they can act. At the same time, some players like it because it prevents mindless dodge and attack spam. After thinking about this for a long time, I came up with an idea. What if stamina wasn’t a resource at all? Instead, attacks and dodges build fatigue. Higher fatigue means you take more damage (and maybe deal less). You can always act. You’re never locked out of attacking or dodging because a fatigue bar is full. If you like aggressive play and feel confident managing that risk, you’re free to go all in. If you prefer a safer approach, you can manage fatigue and fight more steadily. At the end of the day, you have more freedom to decide how you want to play. This is a pretty big change, and I’d really love to hear your thoughts. Player feedback matters a lot to me!

What happens when an autonomous robotaxi gets into an accident? So far, nothing. Yesterday, I rode in a Zoox robotaxi and got hit by an RTC bus in front of New York New York. The Zoox was trying to turn right into New York New York on Tropicana Avenue just after crossing Las Vegas Boulevard and the bus was trying to get over to make its stop. What I saw, was the RTC bus merging into the front left of the Zoox robotaxi and then a crunching sound followed by a grinding sound. Pretty sure it was the RTC bus at fault. Impact detected. The Zoox robotaxi stayed in place while a warning popped up on the user display. Zoox support came over the in-car speaker and asked if I was okay and then eventually had me exit the vehicle at the New York New York rideshare area. Then, it just took off. The RTC bus? It also took off. The driver never got out to check to see what happened. Loaded up some passengers and went about the day. Nobody stayed around to file a police report, so I did. The Nevada State Troopers are scratching their heads at what to do here and so am I. Now I have a lot of questions that won’t get answered probably. I am okay and not injured thankfully, just shaken up a bit. As far as riding Zoox again, I feel it is safe to ride and highly recommend trying it out if you haven’t. On a side note: The Zoox took the hit pretty well and I couldn’t see damage when I checked it out. The bus had a nice scrape on its right wheel fender. I will keep you all updated on this.

As a player i want to see clean body checks! aslong as its with the shoulder i think it should be fair game… KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! To play at this level and not be able to keep your head up when making plays, is like walking blind folded down a highway against on coming traffic! Its a skill to see the ice and be able to play with your head up. Players need to take accountability to not put themselves in positions to get TEE’d up! I like the intent here to make that hit.,..
