The small shows are always so much better too. I’ve had more fun at every $10 dollar show than I’ve had at any $50+ concert.

Not to mention that most promoters will take you in for free if you help set up / tear down / sell tickets for 1 band etc.

Are you acting obtuse on purpose or can you genuinely not fathom that other people don't wanna attend hardcore shows while wanting to see an artist where tickets are in the hundreds of dollars region. Those are separate things.

Besides Party.San, I have only once or twice paid more than at most 30 bucks for a gig in the past ten years.

The scene is too weak for this now
