Anyways, here’s a 50 Cent freestyle from 1999 for some ACTUAL history. Buddy said “learn ya history” and posted a freestyle from 2024. If you prefer T.I. over 50 there’s nothing wrong with that, but when you posting bs like that it just makes you look ignorant.

Unfortunately you’re wrong, 50 Cent got dropped by Colombia in 2000, same year he dropped this freestyle Ja “stabbed” him and 50 responded with this, considering he got shot few days after this track came out I’d say he put some fear in Ja’s heart. The rest is history

Text-to-animation definitely still has a long way to go, but you can now iteratively prompt with a model like Anthropic Fable 5 to get the animation you want. The experiment was only for the freestyle swimming part. Summary: - Task: Freestyle swimming with head turning to get some air every 4th stroke (ended up with every 2nd stroke, which is fine also) - 3% of weekly Fable allowance was used - Estimated cost: $1.20 - 7 iterations because Fable's vision is so terrible (please fix it Anthropic). I had to keep taking screenshots myself and then describe every painstaking details of what's wrong with it, but it did get there eventually. And yes, all the shaders, water mechanics, tree, grass, etc. you see here will be open sourced soon (1-2 weeks). This is being developed as a mini-games engine based on Three.js for Call Me Sensei (Open Beta available soon).

Prototyping can be fun in Figma and a nightmare when you are new to it. As a self-taught designer, I had to figure everything out the hard way. I thought I had seen it all when I was learning Adobe Photoshop back then in 2012. I discovered Figma four years ago and decided to explore the tool since I had been using Adobe XD and Sketch to create some mockups. When I discovered Figma, I created the prototype I shared in my last post just because it popped into my head when I was in the bathroom 😂. I rushed out and decided to try it immediately, more like a freestyle thing and was never intended to be a real product but could be modified into becoming one if the need arises. But many misunderstood the point, which was using the video to convey a message to other young designers never to skip the process, else you will create the wrong MVP. Another design made with love in Figma #figma #uxdesign #uidesign

The claim that Eminem “didn’t have to do what others did” is a common critique, usually implying he skipped the real grind or received an easier path because of race and Dr. Dre’s backing‼️. This framing does not hold up against the facts of his rise‼️. Eminem grew up in severe poverty on the wrong side of 8 Mile‼️welfare, repeated evictions, thrift-store clothes, and barely enough food‼️. He was a scrawny white kid in predominantly Black neighborhoods who was regularly beaten, including one attack that left him in a coma‼️. He dropped out after failing ninth grade three times, worked dead-end jobs while supporting a child, and spent years grinding the underground battle circuit in hostile rooms that often dismissed him on sight‼️. Local credibility had to be earned the hard way through freestyle wins at the Hip-Hop Shop, Scribble Jam, and the Rap Olympics before anyone of note paid attention‼️. Once he broke through, his race did accelerate mainstream commercial success in ways many Black artists of equal skill did not experience at the time‼️. That post-breakthrough advantage is real‼️. It does not erase the years of poverty, physical violence, racial skepticism in the culture, and relentless battle work that came before‼️. The “easy path” narrative flattens a difficult, complicated climb into a simple racial grievance‼️. Eminem still had to out-rap people who did not want him there and build a body of work that stands on skill alone‼️. These Hip-hop pundits do not know s***‼️💯

Happy 48th Birthday to the best to ever do it, none other than Foxy Brown, King Fox! Another birthday, another day to be blessed to still have this legend here with us today. When Inga says we are lucky to have her in this reality, she really means it. Only God and herself know the life that she’s been through, and even then, she want to be labeled as a victim because Foxy is more than that. She is a warrior, a fighter. A woman who has stood ten toes down on what she believes it’s right and what’s wrong. Never afraid to speak her mind, to share her ideas, to tell it like it is, and have no filter about it. Some people have looked down on Foxy because of her ways, but I call it real. I will always appreciate the love she has for her fans, even if her number one priority as of now is taking care of her daughter, plus spending time with her. Besides being the greatest spitter to ever grace a mic, she also splits her time in half to balance us and her personal life all-in-one. I mean, what other female rapper can say Dr. Dre has vouched for them? Being Nas and Jay-Z’s “right-hand-bitch” at the same time, doing a rap battle against Biggie himself, or never having Pac dissing her directly. Whew, it makes you think that, she is truly one-of-a-kind. 50 Cent wanted to put everything on the table just to sign her, but you know her loyalty is different when it comes to HOV. Giving Kanye West the opportunity to produce his first number-one album? That’s just crazy work right there, no wonder he did an arm sleeve with her song on it. People do not realize how many doors she has opened in the music industry, with her connections, her sound, her ability to persuade people, she is incredible. There’s a lot to say about her career and persona, and that’s why I never get tired of writing these long messages on her birthday. I’m glad she sees them as well. But I wanted to take the time to appreciate an icon that doesn’t get the flowers she deserves for her music efforts and presence alone. Notice how Foxy hasn’t performed in how many years? That’s when you invest in real state, trust in your family’s long-standing food franchise, and stray away from the spotlight after you have worked day by day in your teenage years and early 20s. She has earned it all and has nothing else to prove to nobody. Whether it was a freestyle, a single, a promo, she went all out and gave everything to her fans and people who loved her. It’s something special about Foxy that keeps me hooked after all these years. She is the gift, she is the IT girl, it’s in her bloodstream and no one can take that away. I will always cherish and praise her legacy she has left off, and what other surprises she brings in the future. I’m gonna be ready for what’s to come and support her in whatever way I can. I made this little edit today with one of my favorite songs from her, it’s called My Life 2 featuring Althea Heart. It’s such a full circle of a song, you can listen and feel every word she’s saying. That 2003 era of Foxy is literally peak, and I’m still saddened they stole that version of Foxy from us. She could’ve re-peaked during that era, but God had other plans for her. He wanted our Inga to move onto something bigger in life, and that’s why she appreciates her daughter so much. I love to see every second and minute of her treasure, and how she is enjoying her life with her mother. Thank you Foxy for everything and we truly want you to celebrate this moment with your family, friends, and loved ones. You deserve it in your special day. Love you! x
