Wrong read made by Ken Walker III on this split zone run. When he reads playside DT getting upfield and playing with outside leverage, this HAS to be cut back inside. The blocks were lined up for a big gain here too.

This type of cut by Cook is because he understands pre-snap, where the bubble will be on this Mid Zone run, he understands the defensive structure. He is already dead set on cutting it back and getting up inside as he receives the hand-off. Also, some nice blocking by Knox, Shavers and Coleman (Shavers is doing everything Hollins did in '24)

Zone right for KC. Suamataia is responsible for the left A gap here. He sticks on the DT, and the LB penetrates backside and makes the stop on the play. If the Chiefs pick this up, Smith has created a massive hole on the right side with his solo block.

Making my way through the Seattle film and this 17 yard carry by Walker shows the best of a run game. Walker is patient and setting up his blocks. All the Seattle OL are straining to finish. These aren't perfect blocks but their effort allows Walker to pick the best rushing lane and get up the field. Just lovely.

This should have been a walk in touchdown. Lamm's head starts to the outside. Achane reads it correctly and Lamm loses leverage for a run stuff. Don't know why they didn't try running left though.

This is excellent OL play from 75. Split zone. Call was for 75 + 77 to double the 2i. 2i slants to the field knocks back inside to help with the slant coming from the opposite side climbs when he doesn’t feel pressure. 75 makes this play go!
