Grimmjow had to be saved by 4 different characters to even survive against Askin.

The only reason Askin didnt annilate the entire Ichigo squad was because he found it unfair and boring to do it. He effortlessly one shoted Ichigo too. There is a reason why Kubo chose Urahara (the guy who sealed Aizen) to fight this monster.
