I had to read it again it's been a while lol 😭 I was confused

I still remember it very well... I became curious when I saw the movie. But I realized I preferred the manga.

For anyone not in the know, this was an in-between chapter in the manga. Arguably still canon, though. I was delighted to see all this be adapted. The dancing Tachikomas ought to be made into a gif at some point.

Tachikoma shorts were interspersed through the manga. From memory, this particular skit was caused by Major Kusanagi running a test routine on the tachikoma to see how they reacted to revolutionary ideas.

also a nice touch is the music queues the anime has, it gives me so many flashbacks to the ps1 game and its Techno ost.
