Usually, I often encounter iOS bugs. But iOS 18 has been working stably for me. The only bug I’ve had is a black stripe covering half the screen instead of the background on the home screens.

Oh you met this too. I thought I was alone. I believe this happens on 18.3 or later version. I can't tell, the "other icons hold still while dragging" update. It finally worked with that, meanwhile they brought this new feature as well.
