⚠️ Serious Passenger Safety Concern with Rapido Today I booked an auto through Rapido. The app showed the driver's name as Lakshmikanth and the vehicle number as KA03 AL 0071. However, the auto that arrived was KA02 AJ 4492, and the driver identified himself as Mohammed Habbas. This is a serious safety concern. Passengers trust the driver's identity and vehicle details displayed in the app. If a completely different driver and vehicle arrive, it defeats the purpose of identity verification and puts passenger safety at risk. I request Rapido, the Karnataka Transport Department, and the Bengaluru City Police to investigate this matter and take appropriate action. Ride-hailing platforms must ensure that the driver and vehicle arriving for a trip exactly match the details shown in the app. Passenger safety cannot be compromised. #Rapido #PassengerSafety #RideSafety #Bengaluru #Karnataka #PuneethKerehalli

Drivers are being evaluated for their English communication and writing skills at weigh stations and roadside inspections. Drivers who cannot demonstrate sufficient English face fines and arrested for noncompliance. Their employers can also be fined as well. All 50 states are now actively enforcing federal English language proficiency rules following federal executive orders. In California alone, 600 drivers were recently disqualified for failing to meet the standards. As of October, 5,500 have had their driving privileges revoked.

Rapido driver assault with rod. Reason: I asked him to stop holding his phone to his ear in a call and put both hands on steering wheel. Before this he'd already nearly hit a motorcycle. The real shocking thing is that no response from @rapidobikeapp for two days. It seems he is still on their platform. Be careful while taking Rapido please. It's a tiny bit cheaper than Uber but you might be risking your safety.
