This is a long post, it is from the mother of the autistic nonverbal child , family you know what to do‼️ School name : Field Elementary School 120 Sacred heart lane Louisville Ky, 40206 Abuser Name: Robert Ransdell (ece assistant teacher) Over the past few months, I’ve been receiving calls from my son’s school saying that he’s been “abusive” toward teachers and other students. Anyone who truly knows my child knows that is not who he is. He is a sweet, loving boy. This behavior they were describing did not sit right with me. A few weeks ago, his main teacher was out for about a week and a half due to a grievance. During that time, things became even worse for my son. I started receiving calls every single day, but still nothing that clearly explained why this sudden change was happening. I asked the school multiple times if I could come sit in the classroom to observe, and I never received a proper response or the necessary paperwork to do so. On 5/12/26, I received yet another message about my son’s behavior. At that point, I felt lost. I got on my knees, I prayed, and I cried. Something in my spirit told me I needed to see for myself what was really going on. I ordered a hidden camera with 3-hour shipping it arrived in 2. I truly believe that was confirmation. On 5/13/26, I sent my son to school with the camera hidden in his ponytail. It was not visible at all. Around 12 noon, I received a call from the principal stating that SHE noticed the camera while my son was in the sensory room which usually means he was already upset. She told me it was against board rules and regulations, so I went to pick him up immediately. When I got home, I hooked up the camera right away. The first few clips seemed normal but then everything changed. I heard teachers openly discussing smoking marijuana and eating weed brownies multiple teachers then it got worse! My son’s main teacher left to go to the restroom. My son tried to go with her, almost like he was afraid to be left alone. She told him no, and he went back to his seat. Within 30 seconds, the situation took a devastating turn. The assistant teacher, Mr. R, approached my son aggressively. While parts were not fully visible, the audio and partial footage tell the story. It is not visually clear only shadowy, heavy movement but the voice is strong, aggressive, and undeniable. The look does not need to be justified. As a parent, close your eyes and ask yourself: what do you hear? I hear a fight that my child has no control over and cannot win. His tone was vicious, abusive, filled with racism and hate. I will not repeat everything that was said I will allow the footage to speak for itself but I heard things no child should ever hear, especially not a nonverbal autistic child. Let me be very clear: my son stims. He is nonverbal and autistic. His stimming includes clapping, especially when he is overwhelmed or agitated. In the footage, you can hear his clapping then it stops. What follows are screams from my child while this grown man is physically and verbally abusing him. At one point, you can hear a whisper that sounds like, “nigger, what are you doing,” along with other hateful, degrading language directed at a child who cannot even speak for himself. On 5/12/26, I received yet another message about my son’s behavior. At that point, I felt lost. I got on my knees, I prayed, and I cried. Something in my spirit told me I needed to see for myself what was really going on. I ordered a hidden camera with 3-hour shipping it arrived in 2. I truly believe that was confirmation. On 5/13/26, I sent my son to school with the camera hidden in his ponytail. It was not visible at all. Around 12 noon, I received a call from the principal stating that SHE noticed the camera while my son was in the sensory room which usually means he was already upset. She told me it was against board rules and regulations, so I went to pick him up immediately. When I got home, I hooked up the camera right away. The first few clips seemed normal but then everything changed. I heard teachers openly discussing smoking marijuana and eating weed brownies multiple teachers then it got worse! My son’s main teacher left to go to the restroom. My son tried to go with her, almost like he was afraid to be left alone. She told him no, and he went back to his seat. Within 30 seconds, the situation took a devastating turn. The assistant teacher, Mr. R, approached my son aggressively. While parts were not fully visible, the audio and partial footage tell the story. It is not visually clear only shadowy, heavy movement but the voice is strong, aggressive, and undeniable. The look does not need to be justified. As a parent, close your eyes and ask yourself: what do you hear? I hear a fight that my child has no control over and cannot win. His tone was vicious, abusive, filled with racism and hate. I will not repeat everything that was said I will allow the footage to speak for itself but I heard things no child should ever hear, especially not a nonverbal autistic child. Let me be very clear: my son stims. He is nonverbal and autistic. His stimming includes clapping, especially when he is overwhelmed or agitated. In the footage, you can hear his clapping then it stops. What follows are screams from my child while this grown man is physically and verbally abusing him. At one point, you can hear a whisper that sounds like, “nigger, what are you doing,” along with other hateful, degrading language directed at a child who cannot even speak for himself. He is the only Black child in that classroom, and he was clearly not safe. Mr. R needs to be held accountable

Fans tracked down a hotpot restaurant from the drama set and chatted with the owner. Ok let's quadruple down with the actual scene. In the comics the dad is an abusive drunk. This is not that character. He is a controlled military man, completely sober and calculating. The son is not afraid. He is the only son that isn't afraid because he's special (by the power of screenwriters). He's also been through this drill many times before with the bullet holes on the wall at different sizes. When the dad finally shoots the son doesn't flinch. The camera locks and pans with the kid as he walks reinforcing the control he has. He walks up to the dad and they both SMILE. They are bonding over their discipline. The dad looks back as they walk away with a proud of his son look. More importantly as they smile the MUSIC switches to notes of positivity. Which then dissolves to how strong and disciplined he as an adult, earning a positive introduction to a hero. The structure, the camera, the edit, the performance, the music, the dissolve is all a positive memory for him of how he came to be. There is no trauma here. This is a wax on/wax off scene where dad is instilling the super power of discipline. It's the trope of teacher with lessons of tough love. They're stealing from Hanna, Karate Kid, Kill Bill, Yoda, replacing William Tell's arrow with a gun. People today would watch those same movies and argue about mental abuse. You're not coming out of this scene thinking poor abused kid I hope CPS takes the dad and the kid gets therapy and adopted by a white family in Vermont. The purpose of the scene is to instill in the audience that this guy is bad ass, and he's more than worthy of the ring. The narrative point is it's not abuse when the fate of the world is at stake, but a necessity that his dad shouldered. It's not just the Tough Teacher trope, it's also the white HBO screenwriter's Burden of the Black Man trope. Personally I think it's played so seriously it's fucking dumb.
