There's a new COVID variant in town. It's called "Cicada," and experts in the U.S. are on alert as it gains traction. The official name of the variant is BA.3.2. It first appeared in 2024 in South Africa and was identified in the U.S. in the summer of 2025. It went dormant, much like its namesake insect, before resurfacing again in the U.S. around the new year. "Cicada" is part of the omicron family, so it is similar to other recent variants. But it has a lot of mutations, making it harder for previous versions of the COVID vaccine to keep up against infection. In Europe, this variant is behind about 30% of recent COVID-19 infections. In the U.S., it makes up a small number of known infections right now, but home testing and less stringent tracking by public health authorities makes it hard to track. Cicada had been detected in 25 different states in the U.S. as of Feb. 11, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It’s too early to tell who might be most affected by this variant or how severe its symptoms are. Scientists interviewed by our friends at PolitiFact said, so far, "Cicada" seems to be mimicking other recent variants. Some early lab tests indicate it may be less transmissible, though more research is needed. Current vaccines are still a good safeguard against severe illness, though protection against infection may be more limited compared to other recent strains. If cicada becomes more widespread, the variant may be able to sneak past immunity from previous infections and vaccines. Home COVID-19 tests should be able to detect this variant. People who are immunocompromised and older adults should consider whether they need a vaccine booster, federal health authorities suggest.

Footage of Phil Taylor hitting incredibly rare 240 shot in darts resurfaces ahead of World Championship semis DARTS Phil Taylor is responsible for an incredibly rare 240 score which is no longer possible in darts. Taylor is quite possibly the greatest darts player in history, with a record 16 world titles to his name and an incredible 85 major titles overall. 'The Power' holds a series of impressive records, including the most televised nine-dart finishes with 11 and the first player to produce two nine-darters in the same match. But the 64-year-old also produced an uncommon 240 shot back in 1993, when competing in the UK Matchplay. The tournament took place at the Aquarius Club, Chesterfield and was televised by ITV's Yorkshire television. And in a first in the competition, Taylor threw 240 - the maximum score one could achieve with three darts. 240 was made possible because at the time, games were being played on a 'Quadro' board - which had been brought in by Harrows Darts Technology the previous year. The board featured an an extra ring between the double ring and the outer bull, which meant you could get quadruples as well as trebles. The highest possible checkout was 210 from two quadruple 20 and then the bull - but Taylor went and achieved the maximum score against Jocky Wilson, who went on to reach the final in a losing effort to Dennis Priestley. The announcer screamed "240!" as they do these days when 180s are scored. Taylor's effort is believed to be the second 240 hit captured on camera, with Wilson, Shayne Burgess, Bob Anderson and Peter Evison also later matching the achievement during the event. The board was in play for a few years but according to Patrick Chaplin, darts players were regularly confused by the fact there were so many combinations that were tough to remember. Referees and callers also had great difficulty in having to quickly work out the scores. It was discontinued in 2000 and not seen in a professional capacity for a long time but a 2025 version has been released, giving it a more modern take on the classic. On the non-standard board, an eight-dart finish from 501 is possible.

“The conventional story of how the Moon was made makes no sense.” A NASA veteran suggested to Chris Bledsoe that the Moon was “put there” by intelligent beings. And Bledsoe says what he saw convinced him something is hidden on the dark side. “I’ve seen some photos of the Moon and some things I can’t dare say … ” “But what I saw makes me wonder, is it real?” “Was it put there?” “Tim [Taylor] insinuated that it wasn’t there by accident—it was set there.” Jesse Michels: “It’s tidal locked, so you never see the dark side.” “It’s 1/400th the size of the sun but 400 times closer to the Earth from the sun in this perfect way.” “The conventional story of how it was made makes no sense to me.” “This massive object hit Earth, part of the Earth’s mantle came out and formed this perfect cylindrical moon?” “You don’t need to be an expert in this stuff to know that that’s probably not the case.” “Then, parts of it seem hollow. There seem to be caverns in it.” “If you believe the face value story of Apollo 11 … they put seismometers on the moon and it rang like a bell.” Bledsoe: “Something I saw tends to make me think that it’s an illusion.” “What about the back side of it?” “There’s something illuminated back there.” “If you find photos of it, if they’re real, it doesn’t look anything like the front side.” “And from what I’ve seen, there is something hidden back there.” Chris Bledsoe Jesse Michels

✨ A dream I had finally came true: I can now chat directly with my sites to build any feature or fix any bug just via Telegram I've been playing with OpenClaw for 3 weeks now and it's great but I was always too scared to run it on any production server And I was right a bit as Marc Köhlbrugge was able to hack it by social engineering and acting as if it was me, and with enough tries it believed him, and was able to modify the server, change SSH keys etc. of course I had it isolated properly on its own VPS and it didn't touch anything sensitive (as it should!) Marc then reported that bug to Peter Steinberger 🦞 who patched it fast But I wanted to try something more basic and simple, and I think maybe more secure: to just connect Claude Code on my server to Telegram which would be hard locked to only messages from me So I installed claude-code-telegram by Richard Atkinson on the server and run it as a system daemon and it works really well The cool thing is that I was already using Telegram for server errors like this: > Photo AI - ❌ Random credits giveaway failed (Attempt 30/30) with an exception: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 5 database is locked So now I can just reply, "Ok fix this", and Claude Code on the server in production will try (and probably succeed) in fixing it In the video below I asked it to make show [🌳 Parks ] on the map by default on load, it did that, then I reloaded the page and it instantly worked One thing it still needs is sending actual messages while it's doing stuff which OpenClaw does really well, it's annoying to just wait while it says "Working..." but that's probably next

If you’ve never heard TRUE SOLFEGGIO MUSIC before, you need to stop what you’re doing & listen to this. There’s a good reason why the Rockefellers went so far out of their way to hide true solfeggio music from us. It uplifts the mind and heals the body & soul. Among other things: It heals people suffering from anxiety It makes babies immediately stop crying It makes sick animals refusing to eat, start eating …and much, much more. The first time I heard the following track a few days ago I wasn’t expecting to feel anything, but the moment it started playing I felt a warm pleasurable feeling come over my body and I couldn’t stop smiling. I immediately went and bought the entire album by Conspiracy Music Guru that the following track is from (True Solfeggio - Volume 2) and I’ve been listening to it nonstop the past few days. Listening to it makes me feel so good that it’s honestly indescribable. Put your best headphones on, and then sit back and close your eyes or go outside in nature to listen to the following. I guarantee you you’ll feel something you’ve never felt before listening to this if you’ve never heard true solfeggio music before. It is what music was meant to be, and it’s such an incredible shame that it has been hidden from us by the parasites who control society. Here’s the link to the full Crow radio episode this is from: And here’s the link to the website of Alex Michael - aka Conspiracy Music Guru - where you can purchase the album the following track is from & learn a bunch more about true solfeggio music:

Chicha, a term used in Latin America for a fermented beverage made from maize (corn). It is commonly known as chicha de jora (yuka) but also goes by the names aqa in the native American language Quechua and kusa in the Aymaran language. The Spanish name comes from the word “saliva” or “to spit,” based on the method by which it is traditionally produced. Chicha originated in the Andes of South America before the Spanish conquest. Some of the earliest versions of chicha are thought to have come from the Kuna, an indigenous group from Panama and Colombia. Chicha was a sacred item to the Incas, who considered corn to be a divine gift. Incas used chicha in religious ceremonies and political meetings, and believed it was a way to connect with their ancestors and the creator god Wiraqocha. Chicha is traditionally made by chewing maize into small balls, drying them, and then making them into porridge. The porridge is then strained, boiled, and fermented in large earthenware vats for 3–6 days. Chicha is still consumed today at chicharias (chicha bars) in Central and South America. It's also common to pour a little chicha out as an offering to the Earth-mother, or pachamama, before drinking. Chicha production has traditionally been the task of women in the household, with the techniques often passed down from generation to generation. The chicha maker chewed on maize to form small balls. The ptyalin enzymes in the saliva broke down the maize starches into fermentable sugars. The maize balls were left out to dry and then made into a porridge, which was strained, boiled, and fermented for 3 to 6 days in large earthenware vats. Malted maize, called jora, has largely replaced salivated maize because it is less labor intensive to produce. Jora is made by soaking maize kernels, allowing them to germinate overnight, and then drying them. From this point, the process to make chicha with malted maize is essentially the same as with salivated maize. Depending on the region of Latin America, chicha is also often produced from yucca (cassava) root or quinoa or with the addition of various fruits. The color of chicha varies depending on the type of maize from which it is made, ranging from pale yellow to burgundy red. When made from yellow sweet maize, it has a pale straw color and milky appearance. The beverage is slightly sour and almost cider like. It is often drunk in an active state of fermentation and has a low alcohol percentage, usually from 1%–3% alcohol by volume. Chicha has pre-Hispanic origins in Andean South America and was an integral and key part of the Incan economy. Following the Spanish conquest in the 16th century, however, the drink was largely outlawed by the Catholic Church, which forced production underground, converting it from a large-scale industry into something smaller and more artisanal, as it remains today. Today, chicha is still consumed at chicharias (chicha bars) throughout Central and South America. It is produced in a variety of styles, depending on the region. It is often mixed with strawberries or otherfruit to make a frutillada. The word “chicha” can also refer to a non-alcoholic beverage, chicha morada, made by boiling purple corn with cinnamon, pineapple, and cloves (which is available commercially throughout South America). Chicha also continues to play an important social role in the more rural parts of Andean South America, where it is part of la minga (a word denoting a public group effort) and is used as a ritual payment for help given to neighbors for particularly large or complicated projects such as the construction of a new house. 🎥© simple.history_ (IG) #archaeohistories

Trump, visibly moved by the defense of the troops, stepped back in to close the loop and he didn’t hold back. Referring to NBC and their network’s coverage, he called them “real scum.” But what seemed to bother him more wasn’t the media’s treatment of him, it was what he saw as disrespect to the brave American men and women who carried out the mission. “The report said what it said, and it was fine. It was severe, they think, but they had no idea,” Trump said. “They shouldn’t have issued a report until they did. But we’ve gotten the information. And I think Pete said it better than you can say it.” Turning directly to O’Donnell, he continued, “You should be proud. You, especially you, should be proud of those pilots. And you shouldn’t be trying to demean them.” “These pilots flew at great risk,” he said, his voice steady. “There was a big chance they’d never come home to see their husbands or wives.” Then he let the media have it with both barrels. “Let me just tell you—you and NBC fake news, which is one of the worst, and CNN, New York Times—they’re all bad. They’re sick. There’s something wrong with them.” He said he received a call from Missouri, from those directly involved in the mission, describing how devastated they were to see their sacrifice minimized in the media. “They put their lives on the line and then they have real scum come out and write reports that are as negative as they could possibly be.” “It should be the opposite,” Trump said. “You should make them heroes and heroines. It’s a shame.” American strength was on exhibit in The Hague, and everyone, including the media, was now officially on notice.

KAREN READ: HER CRUMBLING CASTLE OF LIES AND WHY THE GARAGE LIE WON'T WORK During Read’s second trial, the defense began to float a theory that John O’Keefe was killed in the garage at 34 Fairview. This was a departure from their previous version of events wherein they claimed stair flight data on John’s phone proved he was in the house and had been killed in the basement, a claim Alan Jackson boldly stated on Nightline. To bolster this theory, Karen Read departed from her previous story of looking at her phone when John left the car, the story she told in that same episode of Nightline and changed it during her Dateline interview and stated she physically saw John go to the door of the home and “cross the threshold.” But as more evidence became available during the lead up to the second trial, it was clear this theory would no longer work. The high-quality location data on John’s phone showed he never left the flagpole area after he exited Read’s car, which is exactly where he was found early the next morning. The temperature readings on John’s showed the device never went from a cold environment to a warm environment, like entering a home. His health data only showed 36 steps indicating he hadn't walked far when he left the car. And so, in the weeks before the trial, Read and her team went to work concocting their new theory. They took the low-quality location data, the data generated when the cell phone signal weakens and expands and, in this case, included the very front of the house/garage area, and began to spin a tale that John was killed in the garage. They saturated social media with their new garage story, going so far as to take a picture of stain spilled on the garage floor and imply it was a blood stain. But the story doesn’t work. While the garage at 34 Fairview is attached to the house, there is no entry from the home into the garage or vice versa. One can only enter the garage from outside the house either by utilizing the overhead door or through use of an outdoor side door. Since Read has already claimed to have physically seen John cross the threshold of the home, this would mean John would have had to have gone into the home then would have been marched back out of the home by the "House defendants" with Chloe in tow to the garage, beaten by the group and attacked by Chloe in the garage, and then moved back to the flagpole area in less than a minute without registering any steps. There is zero evidence to support any of this occurred, and in fact, the data on John’s phone shows it is pure fiction. And it is absurd. The evolving theory Read and her team are spinning as well as its numerous machinations are the result of one thing: retrofitting the available evidence to create any scenario, no matter how implausible, to point the finger away from Read. Strange, as this is exactly what they have accused MSP and the witnesses of doing in Read’s civil suit. Imagine that. I guess the old saying is true, every accusation is a confession. Well, at least with Read it is. #karenreadlies #defendthetruth
