I feel like Xander would rather still be in Boston
The ovation lasted a full minute classy move by Fenway
Fenway got this one right. Not every former player gets that kind of love.
Bogaerts tipping his cap to the crowd that cheered him for years
Classy Fenway moment 👏 Xander got a well-deserved standing ovation on his first return. Red Sox fans showing respect even after he left that’s what makes baseball special. Moments like this hit different.
Real fans don't forget!!
@AlScott1998 Love this for him.
He deserves all the respect in the world from Red Sox fans. 👏 He’s a x2 World Series champion with the team, and played for us for 9 years. I still miss him and Mookie in the lineup.
Welcome home, king ❤️
And we're stuck with Story. Pathetic.

He was my favorite Red Sox player for such a long time! He will always be someone I follow and cheer for!
I don’t know why Boston let that player go
Sox fans deserve better owners
He should
@Padres @RedSox you guys could make back his full contract in jersey sales if you traded for him 👀 (pls take him back)
